ABOUT the MOVIE:
Ten years ago, first-time director A.K. Strom asked himself the question - 'Was it possible to make a "Special Effects" disaster film for just a couple of thousand dollars'? This movie is the result. Made almost entirely with close family members (over a period of three years) for a budget of $2000 USD, the film was eventually picked up for worldwide distribution by an international company. (A.K. Strom's own house in New Zealand served as one of the main sets. His wife and two of his daughters played leading roles).

Holy moly, the movie was amazing, I was about to turn it off after 10 min. of the movie and I said, "what the heck just go ahead and watch the rest of the movie." Yeah, good job! I enjoyed it.

Kirsten Strom is a very talented actress. The message of this film is an important one. That God does not bring all that we suffer; ignorance, hubris and hardship go together and create a living hell out of the innocent belief there in the eyes of every child born into this world. We need to defend the innocent and live our lives with compassionate wisdom and a humility toward the God of all that is good.

That was pretty good. Beats hell out of the Hollyweird junk coming out these days. That said, I wonder what Kirsten Strom is up to these days? Two films and nothing since 2017. Maybe we'll see her again.
