  • It's early humans like him who figured out what's edible and what's not
  • @billycross2716
"Its gross I cant eat it" Buddy we left gross behind a long time ago
  • @mess8008
This is the most interesting cooking channel I’ve watched that isn’t in English. I’m hooked.

As a biology student i’ve had to dissect a few starfish and from what i can tell the white grains are probably the ampullae which are part of the water vascular system. Ampulla expand and contract to control the movement of tube feet. And the “intestine-like stuff” is likely the pyloric cecum and pyloric ducts which are essentially digestive glands that fill the starfish and are connected to the pyloric stomach :)
  • this guy is a mad man i'm convinced he'll try to eat ANYTHING that lives in the ocean lmao
  • Masaru: I found an article that said it's not toxic. Me: sir... Masaru: It didn't say it's edible but it's not toxic. Me: SIR.. Masaru: I'm gonna bite this hard dinosaur-like thing. Me: SIRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
  • @vindiesel564
I imagine fish parents using masaru as a boogeyman like Fish parent:if you don’t get home before sunset masaru will find you and eat you
  • @apigeon9884
Anything is food if you're determined enough.
  • @Stanky_Foot
His facial expression when talking is like when someone is explaining to you but you don't know you're being trolled and he's about to burst out laughing
  • @fresaxzaaa
Why did I think they would be flexible like the one in finding nemo
  • @WanLynn
This whole video is just a big "no...masaru..NOOOO"
  • @RayMak
It's tough to get it out that cleanly
  • @OBRE__
    大昔からこういう人間が居てくれたから今の食文化があるのかな
  • I certainly give you credit for trying out all kinds of sea creatures. You’re the first person I know that tried eating starfish. The color was really pretty but how did I know that it was going to be inedible
  • @ariwijaya538
The first starfish looks too good to be cooked, might be better to coat it in resin and turn it into souvenir instead
  • @elpogio4890
2:44 "the surface feels like the skin of dinosaurs" Masaru is a being that's been on this world since it was created, apparently.

    食べれるとは書いてないけど無毒だから食べるって考えさすが過ぎるwww
  • @rebbie4255
"It's nontoxic but, they didn't say it was edible.. Let's eat it anyway" love this guy's energy 🤣
  • @PeninaPoison
Every time I come across weird sea critters I have the odd urge to dissect/eat them. I don't, so this guy soothes my brain by letting me live vicariously through him. Thanks, Masaru :)
  • @vacuous1331
wait a second... humans are not poisonous, so i would HIGHLY recommend the general public avoids diving near masaru.
