The New DayZ 1.26 Update is now Live on Both PC and Xbox to support the upcoming Frostline DLC. In this update we can expect New fishing mechanics, new survival disease, and new animals. This is very much the survival update.

Also to mention: They also secretly adjusted the Skimask Balaclava around the neck, which was badly clipping through most of the jackets ingame AND they brought new camo variations for it too!

Nah this update with the new map is nice. I gues PC players dont care, being fed mods an all. I can understand the frustration of "not enough contet". As a console player I just cant wait to play the new map. Allways whished for a Namalsk map with more hardcore survival. My only wish is frostbite

Honestly at this point I just wish there were more reasons to team up with randoms. Modded servers solve this by having secrets or stronger AI enemies but those are often poorly designed, has no players or are just bullet sponges

I love the fact that the devs are forcing people into more interactions by all this new cold things because I think people will talk to other players more for info on how to survive iam a xbox player by the the way this is my hope anyway

All looks great! I was really hoping they would bring back the improvised bow as that was before my time. Also more leather working would be awesome. Belt, sheath, flask, holster all interchangeable with the existing ones. fits with the deeper survival mechanics and wouldn't even need any new systems as it's all already in the game files or can just be a reskin. So annoying lugging a sheathe or holster around waiting for a belt spawn. Or you just have the belt and no attachments for it.

for the map traveling are they all connected or is it still server hopping? ( also would some solid white clothing ex: plate carrier/ assault helm, field jacket)

Winter clothing items look like they'll be easy to spot unless you're behind trees or rocks. Kinda just wanted white bdu's or another partially white camo
