Today's video we have another art / graffiti critique. we look at some beautiful apex legends art as well as some graffiti We spend a good amount of time explaining how the bevel effect in graffiti works and how it's done. I could do a full tutorial on this technique if people would like a video on how to do bevel in graffiti.

Really enjoyed this video a lot, and light-source is super tricky. Would it be possible for you to do a video on basic cube forms and multi-point perspectives?

Bevel guy here! Thanks for including me in the video! And yes I know my lighting is all over the place😂 it's because I treated each letter independently (or as if they weren't all on different angles) and with the little highlights I just put them in places that would fill areas that were more empty than others to make it feel more full. In short: I got lazy🤷🏻‍♂️

Yo I’ve just started trying bevels, also you were on John scarces latest video 😂

Grim! I have a project I’m working on that may turn into a mural at a school. Mid if I send you some preliminary sketches when I get an opportunity? It’d be nice to have someone to look things over that isn’t a tool but also will be honest. Thanks for the entertainment regardless. Cheers.

I kinda disagree with the stuff you said about the "echoes" sketch. The composition is super balanced and the shadows and highlights always contrast each other. If you take a fixed lightsource and shade everything according to realism it can quickly happen that it messes up your composition.
