Every impact driver I’ve seen on display has a lot of collet wobble. How is yours? I’ve also heard that the drill cuts out randomly.
-
I’m no expert, but I have tested the drill against Dewalt, Milwaukee and Flex. The Ridgid is definitely legit. It’s also very comfortable to use.
-
Wow,what a difference with the makita... That thing looks really good
-
Jimmy...for my money Ridgid is the best bang for your buck 👍
-
The drill will perform even better with the 8 amp battery because that battery has 21700 cells. I’m hoping the kit goes on sale for Black Friday. Either Ridgid or Flex.

I am a rigid guy would love to have that set but my rigid tools I have are still running great what is the cost for that set
-
I have this set, it’s pretty great, but the oil impact drivers are king. Rigid made thei stealth force oil impact and it was supreme. Anyone out the know why rigid stopped making their oil impulse?
-
That impact might be the best on the market the hammer drill is good not the best but more than enough

This kit was released in Australia under AEG brand around 2016
-
Imagine going to a construction site back in 2005 with this kit. Someone would kill you and steal it haha
-
Wow, indeed. These guys aren't playing around.

On 12/29/23 , I got the rigid hammer drill, r86115k , there is a pause/delay when I first press the trigger, I read the literature and it says to press the trigger to turn the drill on, so maybe this is some kind of safety thing or whatever, I am not a fan of it, but I am retired so I will just have to get used to it, I'm loving the quality so far and the lifetime service agreement is hard to beat, I have owned dewalt for decades but having 2 drills fail in 5 years, both of which are almost 300 bucks each, kept inside a spare room, never dropped or abused, and after the 3 year warranty expired, I'm starting to not like dewalt anymore, we'll see how this new rigid does, I'm in west central Florida by the way, I noticed the chicken walking behind you, I'm wondering if you are in Florida as well, happy new year
-
I love my Ridgid
-
You should try both types from the same year
-
I wonder if vcg construction will see this video
-
Have the KIT USE IT SOMETIMES with FLEX BATTERIES
-
Idk, you didnt really drive the screws at enough of an angle. Next time see if you can drive them at 90 degrees so they go off screen into the neighbors yard.
-
I’ve used ridged for a while, I’ve burned out a few drills of the older models, but these two drills are on another level then the older ones.

RIDGID does not stand up to their Life Time Warranty if they don't want to. I bought a combo kit 13 years ago before the registration LSA but still life time and it had 24v XLi batteries, they will not charge so I tried to get them to replace them and was told they were not registered, I register everything from toasters to tools, and they don't make 24v anymore. I have 3 power tools that collect dust because RIDGID doesn't care about their long time customers.

Great video, how can I contact you?
