It looks to me like they made them more “kid safe”. I mean, it’s harder to poke your eye out with a chunkier, shorter wand. Less pointy means less danger.

It cracks me up how some of these wands are made. Could you imagine being 11, buying your first wand and that death eater wand choosing you? You know good and well everyone in the store is eyeballing you like, "welp this ones gunna be evil." 😂😂
