In this video, J Warner Wallace from ‪@ColdCaseChristianity‬ investigates the historical record of Jesus as if he were working on a Cold Case. We also address several of the common misconceptions about his work, and what is often missed regarding the evidence surrounding the life, death & resurrection of Jesus.

I absolutely cherish these videos. I work at a Men’s discipleship that helps get men off the streets and free them from their addictions through the power of the Gospel. I’ve been playing these videos at our bible studies to help strengthen their faith and give them practical knowledge of historical events. So grateful for your channel and I pray God continues to bless this ministry! Thank you Jesus.

I think it was C.S Lewis who said something along the lines of: "A man can accept what Christ has done without knowing how it works. He certainly would not know how it works, until he has accepted it."

The more I come across well built cases for the the existence of God and the life, death and resurrection of Jesus and the more I see how some accept and some do not, even with the same evidences, and not discriminating the IQ levels; I become more aware of God’s grace. It’s not my smartness or cleverness that made me accept the truth, but the mercy and grace of God that helped me not to reject it.

It's not that we don't have enough information, it's that we don't like what He said. Perfect
  • I just want to say that one of the things I love about you is that you listen to "understand", you don't listen to respond or ask the next question. You give your guest speaker full attention and are very patient while they are telling their story. Well done. Your videos are uplifting and educational......thank you for that.

    J. Warner is simply another example of someone who came to believe in Christ, not because of any personal crisis, but through a thorough examination of the evidence.

This approach suits me, and probably many scientifically trained people, best. I concluded that there is just no room to doubt the fact of Jesus' life & resurrection as described in the New Testament. I've had moving faith moments during my life, but they aren't the most fundamental basis for my commitment to Him. Truth is. Thank you, Brandon & Wallace!

The evidence of the born again believer is proof enough for me. Jesus took my heart of stone and gave me a heart of flesh, god put is own spirit inside me. The one true god of the bible is a supernatural god and if tou turn to jesus he will change you for the better quick. God bless anyone who reads this message I pray everyone eho reads this comes to know jesus before its too late Amen.

It’s interesting. People who have faith find these discussions strengthen what they believe and it’s affirmation. People who are seeking truth and are curious may find a reason to further believe in Christ for themselves and start a path of Christian life. Those who are looking for reasons to disbelieve will always look for validation of disbelief. It takes spiritual insight of the individual to know who God is for themselves. Many tools and methods we do have. It’s like the parable of the sower that sowed seed into various types of ground. ‘He who seeks me will find me’. Truth is light shown in those dark places. I pray all find it.
  • May our father in heaven bless both your ministries. Our faith is NOT in vain 👋🏽

Keep up the great work, Brandon. Can see that Christ is using you for His Kingdom

“If he was just a guy in the 1st century” Sir if HE was “just a guy” there would be no such thing as a first century🤯

Evidence is wonderful for us Christians. Thank God for evidence. Evidence is irrelevant to someone coming to faith. They have all the evidence they need and still reject him. God must change our hearts before we can accept the truth
  • Since coming across this channel, I find myself with a note pad and pencil. This channel gets me that much more excited to pray and to study scripture. This channel is handing out biblical nuggets let's not miss out here.

I think we all have experiences that are so profound and have such an impact on our lives, that when we recall them we often say something like, "I remember it as if it was yesterday." That must have been what it was like for the disciples. The Resurrection was for them was an undeniable fact.
  • Humility is very powerful. I became a Christian at 18 then shortly after that I was doubtful of my decision and asked myself questions about Christianity. I’m 42 now and because of great apologists and using these tactics to know truth I’m completely convinced. The last three years I used those same tactics and became Eastern Orthodox. I was a Baptist for two decades and an ordained minister at that, but I started asking the question “where is the Church Jesus Christ started?”. Well, as I said before, I fully believe it is the Eastern Orthodox Church.
  • I appreciate hearing from Mr. J. Warner Wallace every time. So, so many good points, made so well.
