One time at dinner on the disney Fantasy I told the server I didn't want anything for dessert, there was nothing with chocolate so I was just going to get ice cream after dinner. When everybody's Desert was brought I had a plate covered, when I took the cover off it said nothing very pretty written in chocolate. We all could not stop laughing years later we still joke about it😂

While this info is excellent, the title of the video is a little “click-baitish”.

A top blogger suggests getting an extra milk/cereal , fruit, donuts etc the day before and put in your fridge. That way no matter how early you have to disembark, you can get a decent calm breakfast.

Honestly, I wish that we would have gone to the dining rooms for breakfast instead of Marceline Market, on our August 28th cruise because it was soooo packed in the mornings! It was like the Hunger games! Lol
  • I also ate escargot for the first time on my Disney cruise, which I always wanted to try. I am no longer afraid of it.

We never wanted dessert at the table. But our server always made sure we had a plate with a to go lid to take back to our room.

I liked the video, but I was kinda hoping it was going to be actual advice on what food to avoid. I'm prepping for my first Disney cruise and I don't want to waste precious stomach room on things that aren't worth it

With evening room service, you don't have to stick to the menu either. I love melon and yoghurt/cottage cheese for a bedtime snack, it's not on the menu but they certainly have all of that in the kitchen and made me a nice plate of it every night.

Unless something has recently changed, Cabanas is definitely open for breakfast on your final disembarkation day (not sure about Marceline Market on the Wish). Your servers don't offer that info up front, and basically tell you to come to whatever MDR your assigned to. But on every single cruise we've taken the buffet has also been open. We always head there an hour or so before we have to vacate our stateroom so that we don't have to haul our carryon bags to breakfast (which you'll have to do if you have the later MDR time). When we we are done, we grab our bags and leave the ship. It makes for a much less stressful morning.

Thanks for that recommendation to visit the dining rooms for breakfast. I wouldn't have expected them to serve it, but when you have as many people looking for meals on board as they do, it just makes sense! ❤

Rotational dining is amazing! I loved our servers, they brought up my allergies on our first night (id filled out the app pre-cruise) and we made a plan on how to manage without me having to order ahead every night.

Thank you so much for answering a few questions I had .

Love your channel but just an FYI Cabanas is open on your last morning. It opens at 6:30 for breakfast. We grab a quick bite and walk off early. Also Cove Bar is open for Coffee at 7 with snacks available. On the Wish Marceline’s is also open!!! Favorite meal what ever I am eating at the time lol!!!!

When we went on our babymoon last year, I was in the thick of some weird cravings. Our rotational dining server was amazing about getting me extra helpings of the things I was really excited about! (A whole bowl of roasted beets, anyone?) Side note: Dramamine works for seasickness AND morning sickness.

The buffet is open for breakfast the last morning on debarkation day. It’s a more limited menu but it is a nice option to leisurely enjoy your last breakfast before leaving the ship- especially if you have early dining and don’t want to do the 7:30am breakfast time.

We had the best time at dinner, my kids thought i was crazy sometimes when I ordered an entree for the table but they enjoyed trying the new things and still having their meal to eat.
  • @ccgrad03
First Disney Cruise in a few weeks I’m excited to try all the food.
  • @Not_Dead_Yet
Have fun with your servers too. We went on a DCL cruise and the kids had a cool coloring option and my friend and I (in our late 30s at the time) said in the presence of our servers that that looked like fun. The entire rest of the cruise, our servers brought us whatever the kids had - coloring, hats, etc. We made sure to wear the hats.

I had to laugh at the Senor Frogs comment. 🤣 As a crew member on the Disney Magic many years ago, we'd make a beeline there whenever we were in Cozumel, desperate for some decent food (not actually sure how decent it was, but it had to be better than what we ate onboard. 😜)
