  • He said not to go inside until you cool it down and what does he do- go inside
  • As a veteran firefighter for 37 years, and a company leader, I see several things wrong. First as already stated, he was told by what appeared to be a Chief not to go in due to the dangers of the acetylene tanks which not only puts him, but also his crew in danger. Second, it looks as though he is in a Tanker/Engine, which should have at least 2500 gallons aboard, so in these types of fires, big fire equals big lines so why pull a 1 3/4 handline. These are just my observations; they may have different protocols.
  • Driver-let the other guy up front pay attention to the radio. This is just as bad as being distracted using a cellphone.

Nice response and fast attack. BUT! He made entry for extinguishment AFTER being expressly being told NOT TO due to the presence of Acetylene bottles. He disobeyed an order from command. That is a MAJOR violation. It is a MAJOR safety issue also. He GOT LUCKY. This fire fighter should be severely disciplined for this. It is hot headed, unthinking, ego driven mistakes like this that get people injured and killed. It's great to be the best. It's great when volunteer departments outperform the paid departments. They just can't do it by making mistakes that will eventually cost people their lives. The only way to prevent that is to step down HARD on people when they do break the rules. When they do violate the safety rules.
  • Decent. Officer and engineer don’t know the pre connect layout? Fast water is correct, but in my opinion, a little too risky knowing the materials in the building. Didn’t hear about a water supply (2nd due?) so they’re 2500 gallons (I think it was a tanker/engine) might give them a false sense of security. But! they got results.
  • @cjritchie9701
Get that engineer off that dam radio!! Are you a new officer?! That’s your job! I’m weird with that shit.
  • The driver has facial driver, not wearing a seatbelt, is talking on the radio instead of the officer seat rider, operating at an unsafe speed and the gentleman in the grey cut off needs pump operation instruction.
  • less than 4 minutes from leaving the fire house, driving responsibly, and getting water on the fire! WOW!!!
  • @msdosnt
This FF is a legend in his own mind. Ignores orders and proper safety. He needs to be let go before he gets him or someone else killed. Pretty sure you need to buy the software to get rid of stupid logo on your vid too but based on the level of brains displayed in the video it’s not surprising.
  • @davebiron5111
Good video. But you gotta get your Power Director logo moved or make it small. It really takes away from the video.
  • @StevenKamp
Why is the driver talking and using the radio? Should be the person sitting in the officers seat.
  • @xvsj5833
Great knock down, ventilation? Open up sky lights for ventilation!
  • @SM-vs4ro
Why do they always use a water blast on the fire? I would think a fan would get better coverage. If the fire isn't incased in something, then a blast would just spread it.
  • @fyremanjef
Stay out here till it’s cooled down Lin man, Nah,
  • @Greylocks
I dont have that kind of guts. I'd stay out and send as much water in as possible. Maybe even with the deck gun. I dont think he should have gone inside after hearing there were tanks of acetylene.
  • @DonH-lk8hd
Nothing like keeping the ad up the whole time. What a waste of time!!!!!!
  • @tfrbuck
Cowboy!..disobeyed a direct order from command and it looks industrial. Have to secure power before making entry..Lucky dog
  • Why do you have that image/sign of power director so big and in the way of the picture?? Make it smaller and lower
