  • There is only a slight change in the personal income tax slab, which will disappoint those who had pinned their hopes on no tax liability up to five lakh rupees. The economic package announced for Bihar and Andhra was anticipated, given the compulsions of coalition politics, but it is a blessing in disguise as both states receive a major infrastructural boost. The abolition of the angel tax is one shining light of this budget. Startups need funds most when they are vulnerable during the initial stages of development, and taxing those funds was both counterproductive and counterintuitive.

BJP has started to behave like congress. I think ignorance has started to get in their blood for winning for the third term. All was awesome in first term, then good in second, now at the starting of third it sounds bad already.
  • @pragat647
I don't think Kamala has any chance to win
  • @rajans2504
Today , Palki was at her best taking a hard dig at the central government and was quite overt in showing her disdain for this god forsaken budget. This government which had initially promised to abolish income tax is feeding on our blood. As rightly said, the whole lot of goons aka our politicians should have accountability.

Nirmala Tai has played a Cruel joke with Income tax payers.
  • Palki, I'll tell you what happens next. Micro companies who apply for business loans from govt have to go through middlemen and brokers to get their loan sanctioned. 10% of the loan amount goes to them. If you don't want to opt for their services then there is a very slight possibility that your loan application will make it till the end. Then comes our big brother of all times, the banks. The micro company applies for 20 lakh loan and bank will sanction 9 lakh. And then starts the never ending process of documentation followed by a series of harassment. Finally they'll get 9 lakh reimbursed in the form of CC or TL. But wait for the twist. The micro business owner lost business of more than 9 lakhs because he remained caught up between the bank, the government, and the middlemen nexus instead of serving their customers and finding new ones. This is the on ground reality. This is the bitter reality of countless Micro companies. MORAL OF THE STORY : MICRO COMPANIES SHOULD KNOW THAT THEY ARE ALL BY THEMSELVES. NO ONE IS COMING TO HELP. ITS ALL JUST A SHOW.

If the government has decided to continue collecting tax twice in the form of TDS and GST, the tax payees should be treated well by this country. They should receive some social welfare based on their contributions made to the country. If TDS is collected and returns are filed appropriately, they should be exempted from GST. Some relief should be given to those who are greatly contributing to this country. They should not be treated as unwanted citizens after retirement.
  • @AK-ny5bz
Invest , then when you get returns also.
