I was in the middle of all that, and it definitely freaked the hell out of me. I'm from northwest indiana, so tornadoes in sirens are pretty commonplace. However i never thought in my wildest dreams that i would be experiencing such an occurrence in chicago. Everyone was scared.

Drove through that storm on I 90 west of Elgin...crazy rotation but no funnels.

I got caught a block away from my house, Didn’t think I would make it home, I tried to run but my asthma said no. But God said yes. I started walking/ praying. By God’s Grace I’m still here .

Watched the padres vs cubs game here in San Diego, after over an hour delay. Even the local San Diego broadcasters said it was quite a storm.
