I grew up listening to him. My mom would get all her favorite gospel singers LP. It so happened that she had several. I was blessed to have these songs when one day at 14 I had to look down in the face of her and she was no longer sitting in the chair and 3 years later my father. It was willie banks, Shirley caesar, theGospel keynotes and the mighty clouds to name a few that helped me through. I pray that the next generation up will look back and pull some of the messages to their generation.

My mother loved this song and she would say all the time God is still in charge and yes he is in everything and everyone. My mother has gone on to be with Jesus now and I miss her so. My oldest brother and father has gone on to. So I know God is still in charge of my life.

What an amazing song and singer. This song has really touched me since I heard it weeks ago, I'd like to say by accident cz I had been listening to anuthr song when this one came on but I now don't believe it wz accident. I started to click it off n go to anuthr gospel group I love but something sed; hold on so I did. I thot I needed it then but it wz tonight I rly n truly needed it. I had never heard of Willie Banks that I could recall til a few weeks ago. This was no accident, I believe God knew I would need it tonight. Why did he let me hear it a few weeks ago instead of tonight?? Cz doubt had my mind tonight that God wz still with me n I probably wouldn't have listened to it. But tonight while I was crying he brought the words of the song bak to my mind and I had to listen to it and it has given me the encouragement I need to go on; as Bro. Willie says in the song.
