Was an absolute pleasure chatting to you Mr Hawkins!! Thanks for having me

My theory: Ren’s is so attractive to people nowadays because he is delivering something we all crave whether we realize it or not: authenticity. In a world of fake sh*t everywhere and 24/hrs a day (courtesy the net) - brutal, honest authenticity is an antidote the audience wants. Ren is real.

I knew Ren growing up when we were very young and I can say with great confidence he is exactly who he says he is, I think that is a factor why his music is doing so well. Not only is his music fantastic he is 110% himself, no smoke and mirrors and that is what makes him so relatable. He is and is going to go down as one of the great singer songwriters from the UK. I love his music and so does my 6 year old, and he found him on his own not through me showing him. Very proud to see someone who grew up were we did in the middle of nowhere become what he has. Your the man Ren!

The fact that Ren called Justin ‘Mr. Hawkins’ has slain me 😊
  • @RickReasonnz
Ren is a once in a generation talent. What an absolute treat to hear from the man himself!

I can identify with Ren's brain and I'm a 60 year old woman. I could never be put in a box either. I wanted to do everything and had a brain that was both very creative & very inquisitive. Never diagnosed with ADHD but sounds about right. lol. Where I did always feel most at peace with myself is in music & nature. Two things that I always say set the human spirit free. Ren reminds me of someone like Van Gogh or Davinci. He is an artist in every sense of the word and born to do exactly what he is doing. He connects to people of ALL ages because he expresses a truth about the human condition that we all can relate to. No one gets through this life pain free. Ren is a rare gem in the music industry, and his message is needed!
  • Justin's a really sweet, chill dude man and Ren's an absolute legend in the making. Big love to both 💚
  • My wife and I watched this sharing a bottle of wine with the same excitement as watching a Saturday night movie, I loss count how many times she said, "He's so adorable " lol we both love you Ren ❤ and can't wait for the day you are on stage. Justin, this was a double bonus for us as 'I believe in a thing called love ' was our wedding song back in 2006. ❤❤
  • Ren is a super interesting dude but let's not discount the quality of Justin's interviewing style. Really natural, well researched and very personable.

As another person that has all the weird syndromes that make doctors throw their hands up, I’m amazed at Ren. That he is able to do all that he does while dealing with health problems, he’s truly inspiring.

I'm 22 and unsure about my future because of depression and mental illness, just found out about Ren and pretty much wanted to be him when i get older. Amazing human being and you can clearly see he is 100 percent who he says he is. What a pure soul despite his challenges. You inspire us Ren!
  • @TheLeedsBoyz
Ren is a beautiful soul. Could listen to his ADHD rambles for days, he has so much to say and it's all worth listening too.

Fabulous interview. As a 50+ man I thought I knew what music I liked, Indie, punk, Stoner Rock, alt rock. I really didn’t believe that, at my age this would ever change, but what REN is doing now has blown my mind. I realised that I had pretty much stopped listening to new music and REN has totally changed this - Thanks for that REN.
  • I put this interview on with the intention of doing mundane stuff at the same time as listening, but i havent done a single damn thing, just sat here completely captivated, fascinated, enthralled. Ren is a once in a generation artist and I feel privileged that I'm here to witness it, he deserves every success heading his way.
  • @fernando9260
He broke into tears in Rosalie's interview and almost broke in this one aswell. This dude's a music genius but also has a heart of gold and needs to be protected at all costs.
  • @botchick
Everything about Ren is astonishing. He's completely reinvigorated my optimism that even in today's industry climate, stunning voices can emerge and rise far above the fray. He's also completely adorable. I mean, come on.
  • What an eloquent talented little dude! Note to self: If you ever see Ren coming out of a store, don't go all fangirly at him. Accept that he's stepped out of his performer suit and leave him the hell alone. (That would be tough to do, I'm not gonna lie. But now I know - and if he's ever in Houston, Texas - I'll commit to doing that for him.) Thanks, Justin, for such a great interview. :)
  • @WhiteFyre
33 years old?! I’m shocked I assumed he was around 19. Ren is an incredibly talented young man. Animal Flow is an absolute hit!

I just discoverd Ren about 3 hours ago, listened to about 10 songs from him and am now listening to this interview. I never experienced to love someones music so deeply and like it's creator so much in this short of time before..
