Torture is always easier when you're surrounded by people who care about you and would never let you suffer any real harm.

you know it's supposed to be silent and pitch black so the drip has an overwhelming effect because it's the only thing you are sensing
  • The main concept was being bored to death , so if someone is around you it's already a fail.

Bruh, if you're gonna torture someone turn off the lights and leave them alone.

I did this as an experiment for my buddy's college thesis in psychology, but it was only for a max time of six hours inside a darkened room in pure silence. I endured it by closing my eyes and making an entire movie play in my head. Earned myself a good dinner and some money for my trouble, but I won't do it ever again.

It would’ve been a actual challenge if u did it in a isolated room with no one to talk to and the room was completely dark. And the water isn’t even touching ur skin it’s hitting your tape

Well her teasing him is just helping him clear his mind out of the torture I think the solitute is part of it

It's hard to tell who's really being tortured here

I have spotted 1 other flaw with your experiment. For the torture to actually work, the drops have to come at complete random intervals. When the water drips at a consistent level, your brain can oddly settle into a rhythm, making it more bearable. Part of the technique is not being able to anticipate when the drop will be coming. That is part of its maddening effect and I guess that furthers the other comment about being pitch black, so you can’t see and expect. I commend your effort but it’s not a show of fortitude unless you can complete it how it is meant to be administered.

Imagine after that taking a shower how would it felt
  • I love how your videos are fun to watch and also short enough for my attention span

The whole point of the torture was to make the person believe the drops were acid and it was slowly making its way to its brain, and it was supposed to be in a dark room and then it would ACTUALLY break them down psychologically.

Wasn’t a good experiment. In a real situation you’d be in a room alone with nothing but the sound of the water and you wouldn’t be able to move any part of your body

You should’ve stayed 10 hours cause that’s how school feels
