Can our Vintage RV be fixed?? She's got tons of problems but we managed to find a mechanic who can get her in, but you won't believe how much it costs 😳 Of course our mechanic found many more issues and it’s going to cost thousands to repair her 😔 Can we finally get this camper van back on the road and get back to traveling??

You found an awesome mechanic. do not lose his number.
  • @JoeandEmmaLee
You guys! Ok let’s do an RV SWAP as soon as we’re done!
  • @rangerkathie
Your new mechanic really know’s their stuff! You can tell how competent they are with them finding all the things you forgot to tell them

As regards Clementine's woes, it's as my mechanic brother used to tell me - "just the newness wearing off". Best travel vlog on YouTube.
  • @kevinh2955
Next time you park either Clementine or Ruby... you should put in there a tub of dessicant to absorb moisture to keep the interiors as dry as they can be.
  • @gabygaedecke2411
Using the Damp Rid now in the wet/snowy season is a great idea. When you get into the Midwest and it is frozen but dry, you can air Clementine out every day - the mold REALLY doesn't like those conditions! :face-red-heart-shape:Love your optimism, keep on truckin', guys!
  • You guys are such good owners. You always take the best care of Clementine. I hope she doesn’t have anything major for a while 😅 love seeing her better and back on the road. Love to Eric on his mom’s passing 💕🙏

Honestly, one of the reasons the price is so high is because you are in Seattle. It was almost 1500 for me to get my brakes replaced and my car maintenanced. Everything with cars costs tremendously here (as you saw with your Uber costs). Seattle's great, but man is it expensive. At least your mechanic sounds like he knows what he is doing. I wish you no more problems in your RV! It would certainly be nice if you got to explore the beautiful parts of Washington State and not just it's expensive bits. You should def. go to the Washington Coast if you haven't yet. It's amazing.

Clementine would make the cutest Airbnb. You should put her on a piece of land on a permanent spot and rent her out. I’m sure everyone would love to rent her!

All these haters... The feeling of not knowing is the worst. Glad Clementine is healthy again! Don't give up on her, she's far too beautiful and you're almost done with the shake down problems. Of which you ALWAYS have with an amateur vehicle build. I'm a retired car builder and these things always happen, especially when you use your custom. Keep on Keepin' on! We'll see you on the road.
  • @akgobears
Well i can only speak from my perspective which is that i love the fact you got Clementine back on the road again...Ya'll have spent a lot of time and effort on that rig just to let it sit because of repair costs...As long as your going to use it, your going to fix it as thats RV law...So am glad you bit the bullet, and got her fixed....Now enjoy !!! Travel safe, stay well....

Clementine is a super cute girl. Definitely worth keeping her going. Just hard to take those hits. Keep reminding yourselves you don't have a monthly loan payment ;) And condolences to you both, losing your moms.
  • @TheSmdl
I love your travels. But the Clementine on-going issues are just so frustrating to watch.
  • @briandrucker9640
Don't give up! Once you work out all the bugs you will have a dream rig with the perfect toad! Bugs and toads and campers oh my...

Stop by Walla Walla WA and we will take you out to some great winery’s
  • @ZEVONLIN
I think your RV is super cool! I'M sure you are not listening to the ninnys that think you are wasting money on it.
  • @hbuzzell
Those cute little ice packing pellets is called graupel. Also called soft hail, hominy snow or snow pellets.
  • @ebsinger3250
Love your adventurizing and even your Clementine woes...but I just had a thought...and it's probably crossed your minds as well, but once you get some land, you could permanently park that vintage gal and start a glamping park! Find some other ladies and quickly renovate them, and you could have a theme park! Hope you can do some international traveling in 24! Best from boiling springs, pa

I know I am a few videos late but... peppermint oil will stop spiders and mice. And rub clove oil over surfaces that has had mold it will kill the spores. Even over the rub down u have done. So proud of both of u. I can't wait to see all of your new adventures ❤
