Happy Mother's Day! Here's some lore on Magenta's mother (NOTE: some may find it disturbing and/or extremely sad):
After adopting two previous daughters (Berry and Byzantine, which they call twins because they were coincidentally born on the same day) with her husband, Magenta Sr. wanted a biological child of her own. While she has no hate at all for her kids, Berry and Byzantine would get into a lot and I mean a lot of trouble. She wanted a child hoping to raise it to not fall down their categories.
And then it happened. Magenta was eventually born. Her mother was so happy for her, but nobody else showed up to Magenta's birth, allegedly being "too busy" or they "forgot".
Magenta was always the black sheep in the family, but her mother always loved her. However, one day when Magenta was 3 months old, she disappeared. Nobody knows what happened to her. She could have gotten killed and her body was discarded, she could have simply ran away from all the trouble, could have gone under a new identity, the family doesn't know, or claim they don't know.
Thus poor Magenta was forced to raise in her abusive household, doing all the work while continuing to wonder about her mother as she doesn't remember anything about her. Luckily, her maternal grandmother visited a lot, and was the only one who cared about her, being aware of what the family did to her.
Thankfully, Queen Spectrum freed her and sent her to Earth with some new friends who, despite still doing the work for them, appreciates them and they appreciate her back, and it helped Magenta develop new skills such as cooking and constructing.
Still to this day, Magenta doesn't like to talk about her mother as it puts her in a very upset mood as she has yet to solve the mystery of what happened to the one of the very few family members who cared about her.
