    I think Andrew hit on but backed away from a very important point about this friend AI thing. Lonely people will be sucked in and are being sucked in by Replica and Character AI and it is a silent tragedy. People will substitute all social interactions with those fancy autocompletes to remain in their comfort zone or because they feel like you can't get social interaction otherwise. An AI will never argue with you, will never push and challenge you, will never treat you like a friend will and I'm extremely worried for what it means for people who won't develop those skills.

    The FPS lag around 3:00 and beyond was driving me nuts. I thought that Elis and Adam were trying to be sly with us and lag the video a bit when David said "lag" during Andrews dissertation on Skip Pants.
