Sergeant Technician Fourth Grade Freddy Fazbear of 1st Infantry Division charging onto designated beachhead “Omaha” tasked with securing parts of the Normandy coastline in northern France from the occupying German Heer. In the successful aftermath of Operation Overlord, Sergeant Fazbear would later be reassigned to the 87th Armored Brigade of the 4th Armored Division - a desegregated unit comprised of General Patton’s own forces and Fazbear Entertainment animatronics repurposed as combat robots for the U.S. Army. Sergeant Fazbear, as well as other notable members of the 87th, would later be awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor by President Dwight Eisenhower for his actions at Omaha and the Ardennes breakout.
