Ronny Chieng, one of the earliest and most popular Working It Out guests, makes a triumphant return. Ronny and Mike discuss the significance of Ronny’s chic onstage wardrobe, the similarities between practicing law and performing comedy, and whether or not it was Ronny who planted the Hasan Minhaj New Yorker story after all. Plus, why Ronny absolutely refuses to reveal his actual birthday.

  • People at work always say, “I don’t want to bore you too much with how the sausage is made”…. I can’t believe how much time I can happily kill listening to comedians talk about jokes and how to write and perform them. It’s so meta, but for me it’s just as good as watching standup itself.
  • "non partisan but who are we kidding" had me in stitches!!!! 🤣🤣🤣
  • This is an interview that showcases respect of craft. I like unscripted Ronny Chieng.

I hate holidays, birthdays, etc., they're arbitrary mandatory transactional "celebrations." Stupid. ❤ Ronny Cheing, this was awesome! Thanks!

Maria Bamford did a special for two people (her parents) and she murdered at that venue

Man, that was SO enjoyable and funny. I like Ronnie's comedy, but i hadn't listened to him in a podcast before. Thank you for sharing!
  • Being in comedy is very intuitive you say reading a room and trusting the universe dang I love your interviews both of you are amazing
