Self acceptance is such an important thing to develop, in this video me and Christine discuss our journeys to self acceptance when we have been faced with different attitudes towards our condition, and we talk about how these different attitudes have impacted us.

  • Lovely discussion, thank you Romy and Christine. 😁💚🌟🌟
  • You are so awesome Romy and so right about everything. Really good chat video! Most of my life i have been able to be myself. When i started secondary school i was bullied left out, no one wanted to be friends with me for three years it was really hard. I tried to be in a sense "normal" because i just wanted so bad to fit in so i did hide my tics and i was depressed. I couldn't understand why no one wanted to be around me and yes my inner dialogue said back then there is something wrong with me and i believed it for years. Everything changed after i met another person who has TS learned i 'm not alone. I have accepted myself as i am and i love being me. I have made many new friends who have TS and one of them she is like a sister to me has embraced me completely as i am and i have done them same for her. She has helpped so much when i was unhappy because one person i used to work with had a bad attitude against my Tourette. It's the reason why i started my personal blog because things need to change and the worst thing is the people out there with their attitudes. 💙💚💖🌟✨
  • Well, well, well, hello! what a surprise. Your looking very nice. I was watching and listening to your conversation and stopped to reply when you were discussing accomodations. I too experienced the if i let you do this i will have to let everyone else do that. GROAN1
