There are few actors who were perfect castings for their rolls. RDJ as Iron Man is one of them.

As long as they do him justice i would love to see RDJ's iron man in secret wars.

Anyone who says he wasn't a real actor in marvel is mad.. He brought a character from a comic to life and he did it that well we all became immersed in his role that we sometimes forgot it was a comic movie.. He's an amazing actor..

RDJ is Iron man. He is the face of marvel right now. I'm so glad he is coming back.

RDJ doubting himself as an actor is wild. Dude has been that guy since Chaplin, even with his legal troubles, but hey, I'm here for more RDJ Iron Man.

Getting rid of Iron Man was motivated primarily as a money decision and not story driven. Characters come back, after a while, in Marvel comics so welcome back Robert Downey Jr in whatever form.

RDJ fits Ironman character as a glove

Robert Downey Jr.'s biggest competitor was himself. Playing Tony Stark/Iron Man was the perfect role for him and he did it so well, he basically type-casted himself. Tried for a while to show that he could play other characters outside of being Iron Man, but his other projects ended up being flops until Ophemheimer came along.

Tony's death was such a solidified ending and he went out like a boss. This really waters everything down.

This is the best thing I've heard regarding the MCU since Hugh Jackman announced he was coming back. But with RDJ it's way more exciting to me for RDJ to return. He's been one of my favorite actors from way back in movies like Weird Science, Less than Zero etc. His redemption story coming back from Drug addiction to become Ironman and basically turning the MCU into the biggest movie franchise ever. I never could relate to people saying OMG it's going to ruin his sacrifice. He comes back as a variant and it's not effecting the Infinity Saga.
