  • It's never a waste of time watching the Futur's content. A cup of coffee and a few videos from you guys is the best way to start a day.
  • @holmhelena
I want to applaud those young men for being ambitious. I grew up in an environment where ambition was not applauded, but mocked, so It can be easy to give up when you are young. As Chris said, you can achieve anything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Something i started saying is "i can make a logo and other graphics" now as a designer i tell my clients "i can take your ideas and turn them into reality". We can work together to solve your creative problem.

2 years later, this video is still relevant.

I appreciate how The Futur brings useful content to both beginners and experts. And yet, they're all worth seeing regardless your position on the career ladder!
  • @RobertLoyale
Here’s the clear answer, do the work. If you want to be known as the expert, do 5 case studies a week on real, local businesses in your area. Tag them in it. (If it’s good, they’ll share it or contact you). And another thing, know the client you are trying to pursue. Timothy the business owner of Dark Pikachu Tv on YouTube with 9k subscribers will not pay $10k for a website. However, Brittany the marketing manager from Herbal Tea and Steam Therapy will pay $10k for a campaign which includes new landing pages for a website.

"How can I come across as an expert?" Here's the thing. As a business owner, I look to hire the most connected and relevant person. Which is often a much younger person than myself (as tech is always updating). I just need to know you're reliable for the price, and will deliver a good result. That's all I care about.

This new curated ~15-20 minute video series is dope.

Chris is the best. I always start my day watching thefutur videos. It changed how I see myself as an artist, bigtime!!
  • @theliastry
You always have the best advice. On the most basic level, thank you for not being condescending to young people & choosing to empathize with and inspire us instead. It’s hella scary putting yourself out there especially when you’re new, it’s good to be heard & not have concerns discounted
  • @randamachnok312
Just wanna point out how beautiful it felt when Chris says "I AM your big brother." It just hit me.

I feel like anyone who’s come across TheFutur’s contents has such a higher advantage specially as a designer! These videos that are FREE are literally life changing. I am truly privileged. Thank you team!!

I'm in my last year in my graphic communication in university and most students don't have a clear goal to what type of design field they'd like to go into yet which is not a bad thing because everyone is at different stages. Would love an episode on a career path for graduate or how to plan things out from the start. Great video as always!
  • @mmazz414
Chris... I cannot thank you enough for this message. I am my own worst critic - and now I know I really need to not compare my beginning with someone's middle, and I'll get there in time. It's always a work in progress...
  • @filipfelbar2001
I think I can safely say that your content has given me more insight into the design world and motivation than what I learned in the last 3 years of design school. Keep the videos coming! :)
  • @Myxlpltx
The entire episode is great but this section here spoke to me the most. Keep up the great content the Futur!
  • I love the positivity and the change of perspective! Your videos get me super inspired, thank you for bringing so much quality content ⭐️

His weakness is sometimes coming off as arrogant and unempathetic. Nevertheless, I appreciate all his many strengths especially making these videos others can learn and grow from. 'A Brand is not what you say it is, but what others say it is'
