Conte has won 5 league titles in the past 11 years, taking over a Juventus that finished 7th, a Chelsea that finished 10th, and an Inter that finished 9th. He's an elite manager. The issue is Tottenham and Daniel Levy.

Telling the truth is NEVER going too far. What a world we live in today.
  • @owenthfc9055
No. He stated facts. These players got Poch, Nuno, Jose & inevitably himself all sacked because they think they can do no wrong. The players are the problem. And so is the owner.
  • @xLUNAPODx
Conte spoke the truth. Conte spoke from the heart. Conte said what everyone has been saying for sixty years.
  • Wow , he literally pulled out " it's the history of the Tottenham
  • As a United fan i can say…NO he did not, everything he said was a warranted reaction, Poch didn’t win anything there, even Jose who’s a serial winner got sacked before HIS own cup final vs City, Conte got top 4 last season when no one expected them to, and he got backed with average players in the summer, it’s pretty obvious that the owners have always been the problem at Spurs, they’re the reason for lack of ambition and lack of quality reinforcements at Spurs, Sacking Conte will only make it worse.

You'd swear he was after taking a fellas life with the way the media are reacting to it
  • @henners_0290
Didn't go far enough, completely agree with what he's said. 1 trophy in 23 years under this ownership and we call ourselves a big club, embrassing!
  • It depends on your opinion on football. If football is a business then he was unprofessional, going against all corporate etiquette. If football is a passionate sport, seasons remembered for moments of emotion, then he simply showed his passion. I'm sure Brian Clough wouldn't have done much different
  • No because one his is a person that wants to win and is a proven winner. He deserves to be back at Chelsea Football Club at least he'll get the support from players that actually want to win. Oddly enough they need a true tactician with passion. And Tottenham and Graham Potter are made for each other.

He has played a blinder, has really put Levy in a right pickle 👏
  • @GramdalfFGC
should he have said it? professionally probably not but he was 100% correct about what he said. I am not a spurs fan but the main issue at the club is not players, a manager, tactics or even transfers. There is a culture of failure that permeates that club from the very top to the very bottom. The simple answer is when all is said and done, it's okay not to win at spurs. I remember Poch saying something like "trophies aren't everything" and there wa a bit of an outcry but that's it, the fans barely batted an eye. The fans are to blame as well, I'm sure individually every spurs fan wants to win but collectively?

If a manager says too little, it’s a media talking point for ‘under sharing’. If a manager says what he thinks, it’s a media talking point for ‘oversharing’.
  • @nguxolani
"Lads it's Tottenham" That's how Leicester won the league haha
  • It's high time someone told Tottenham the full truth. I don't see conte being a problem, The club and the owner themselves are to blame. They can change dozens of managers nothing will change. The club need to bring change or else Tottenham will remain Tottenham
  • @johnpoolton59
Respect to Conte for telling the truth, , the players need to play for the club and be proud to do that 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
