Ernest Tulye Nsimbi Lupiazitta Zamba is a Ugandan Rap Icon, Best known as GNL Zamba. With a career spanning over 10 years at the top of his game and a decade since his landmark debut album, 2009's Riddles of Life "KOYIKOYI" - One of African Music's biggest and best-loved Indigenous language Hip-hop albums; GNL Zamba has embarked on his exciting new chapter in his career with his latest projects 'THE SPEAR', 'NSIMBI 2' & 'INFINITY'.
GNL's eclectic style was Influenced by Afrocentric Icons like Eddy grant & Fela Kuti as well as International Rap-stars Nas, Jay Z, Ice Cube and International Poets like Gil Scot Heron and Mbuli who filled the airwaves in his hometown of Kawempe, Uganda.

What I liked most is he mentioned Lumix (RIP) and so I respect GNL for raising the Ugandan flag, not everyone in the music industry sees deep as much as he did... he is more successful but surely Lumix was his mentor as they have a lot in common

I knew Babaluku from East African Television, but this guy GNL is the one who established the rap/lugaflow genre onto the Ugandan Mainstream music scene. He's a legend because he made many fall in love with the genre with his lyrical genius and style. Very few cared about hiphop before him but he got the children, the young people as we'll as the elders to listen to his music. Feffe follows in his footsteps and for me, he's really outstanding.

He is also a guardian of “Lugaflow” which is purely African Genre. We can lol rap in English but we can’t do the same for in our languages. And this is what makes him genius. GNL—Champion of African Ingenuity!
