Thanks for watching! The Yankees are currently going through injuries left and right. Their best pitcher, Gerrit Cole recently went down and will be sidelined for many weeks. They need rotation depth, and talent. Trevor Bauer is currently a free agent, and Trevor Bauer should be who the Yankees sign.

As a yankee fan I think this would be awesome the Yankees need pitching and a former Cy young winner saying he’ll sign for League minimum doesn’t come around too often to say the least and the fact he has a history of successfully working with our ace is just a bonus
  • They won’t do it because the league has a vendetta against Bauer. I don’t know why, he was clearly framed and if the legal system can’t find him guilty he should be reinstated. Mlb has let actual domestic abusers pitch in this league it’s not fair for someone who was falsely accused to be treated worse than actual abusers.

I couldn't agree more. It's a perfect storm. Yankees want a good arm while spending as little as possible. Sure there will be some backlash but I think more people support Bauer than not. Imagine the jerseys they would sale and how many people would tune in or buy tickets to see Bauer pitch again. Not to mention the jersey sales too.

You kind of off base. When Cole attacked his work ethic at UCLA, it wasn’t that Bauer was lazy. He had wild unconventional ideas of how to do things. His long toss warm ups and how they annoyed coaches and players are the stuff of legends. He was doing against the grain training, not no training or little training.

It’s Lindsay’s fault that we don’t have Corey seager anymore

His controversy was he had his own workout routine and he got hurt doing something innocent? They also banned him for being a victim of fraud. Strangely his time in Japan was a breath of fresh air for the country and for him.

If the Padres have no interest in signing Bauer, no one will. He's obviously been blackballed by the league and ownership.

The Yankees would be genius if they signed Trev. Cole and Bauer would make Yankees pitching elite from this rivalry. The rivalry would eventually erode and become something beautiful. Do it Yankees.

As much as I hate the Yankees and would hate to see Bauer in a Yankees uniform. If it gets him back in the league so be it. He deserves to be there and MLB would be better for having him.
  • Clearly didn't get the memo about Cashman's shallow quote about Bauer.

It is truly amazing that all these people are out of touch with reality. Bauer is an elite pitcher in his prime and not one team has even offered him the League minimum. The Dodgers literally lost over 30 million dollars and all they had to do was let him work under his already agreed upon contract. It is pretty obvious that there is an unspoken ban on Bauer.

Lollllll PLEASE put them both together. Made for NY
  • @JR_YT97
As a Yankee fan it seems like a smart decision and would benefit the team, so it’s not gonna happen
  • I think the league has too much power over players careers and personal lives, should be considered a monopoly and regulated just like any other business.
  • @Kingflowh
Been saying New York should sign Bauer. We don't care about anything but winning the world series.

I have been saying this since November!!! Finally other ppl are starting to see it. When there was all the talk about pitchers and eveyone was making there lists of who they wanted i always said bauer and snell. And both but if only one bauer over snell... Anyway im glad other ppl are finally seeing this...
