Yeah Christian Bale took that one easily. That was just fucking amazing. That's dedication.
-
Christian Bale is the master of body transformation. Hope it doesn't give him some health issues though.
-
That Bale transformation is so frightening that it's brilliant
-
100% agree with Christian Bale taking the top spot. That movie was so hard to watch just because of his appearance.
-
That's respectable what 50 Cent did. Honoring a dead friend by making a movie for it. I haven't seen it but I'd imagine it's pretty deep
-
How come Bale didn't get health problems? WHAT KIND OF HUMAN IS HE?! Wait...
-
#2 and #1 on this list are well deserved, it's insane what they did for their roles.
-
Honorable Mentions: Edward Norton (American History X), The Rock (Hercules), Tobey Maguire (Spiderman), Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club), Michael Fassbender (The Hunger), Natalie Portman (Black Swan)
-
OMFG! Bale sure is extreme. 120 pounds? Man! I can't even drop 20!
-
Christian Bale definitely is the most impressive. That looks positively scary, how he looked as an insomnia...
-
Honestly, when I starting watching I immediately thought of Christian Bale in the Machinist. If you haven't seen it, just watch it to see how different he looks. Even the people working on the film were urging him to eat more.
-
Christian bale is the best actor in the world and he knows it
-
Man I thought Bale was the worst for The Machinist but nearly killing yourself for 2 days of filming, damn Matt Damon, that insane. Doctors will tell you that losing or gaining weight that rapidly can cause permanent damage. Im glad Watch Mojo mentioned all the health issues suffered. No movie is worth your life or your health. As someone with a chronic disease I can tell you, life without good health almost unbearable.
-
Totally agree with Bale and Leto as #1 and # 2.
-
Bale have done more transformations than any other actor I know of, well deserved no.1 American Psycho --> The Machinist --> Batman Begins --> Rescue Dawn --> The Prestige --> 3:10 To Yuma --> The Dark Knight --> The Fighter --> The Dark Knight Rises --> Out Of The Furnace --> American Hustle etc etc By the way, it was Bale's physique in the Machinist that convinced me that I needed to seek help and gain weight (he weighed 120 lb in that movie and when I watched it I weighed 110 lb at just an inch below his height)
-
Holy shit, how the hell do you motivate yourself to run 3 hours or 13 miles every day?! Definitely gained more respect for 50 and Matt Damon
-
....I can't even lose 10lbs
-
Adrian Brody should've gotten a honorable mention for the Pianist.
-
Tom Hank's transformations ultimately gave him diabetes.
-
I wish you would've gone more in depth on Bale's transformation.
