Nate Boyer is a Green Beret and was a Seattle Seahawk so he has very unique outlook when it comes to Colin Kaepernick sitting during the national anthem.

  • Nothing is more American than having a GoPro stuff to a bald eagle while flying over the flag, while flying with the national anthem playing in the back ground

I just clicked this and my dad was looking over me and see what this was and he said that was Nate. My dad had pictures of him and him from Iraq
  • Nate Boyer is the type of person we should all aspire to be: hard-working, focused, loyal, and sensible. I wish nothing but happiness for him and his.

ya know, i appreciate this. i once had an english teacher who had served a couple tours in the army, and once a kid asked him about how he felt about situations like this. my teacher said “well, after the military i went to a very liberal college. and that’s okay. people would burn the flag every single day on campus, and you know what, i didn’t get angry. they had the right to protest. it didn’t hurt my feelings. as long as they didn’t hurt anyone. my buddies died for their right to protest like that.” i find that really admirable.

Nate looked 50 in collage, but ironically still looks 50 almost 30 years later.

I would like to thank all for their service of this great country. God Bless the United States of America 🇺🇸
  • @richardmau8
Thank you for your service Nate...thank you for your strength of character....you are awesome!

Nate’s a class act. To pen an open letter, meet with a person who you don’t necessarily see eye to eye with and then work on a compromise both people can agree on? The definition of a silent professional. Proud of you brother, De Oppresso Liber!

Collin has the right to protest. People have the right to criticize his method. Front offices have the right to refuse a distraction from coming into their teams. EVERYONE HAS TO MAKE A DECISION AND LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.

Wake up NFL. “United we stand divided we fall.” One anthem...we are Americans.🇺🇸

Wow, why hasn't the so called media shown this story??????
  • @stihlnz
Nate, you're a top man. While so many look for reasons to divide a country, you who have put your life on the line for it and work to encourage and embrace someone making a heartfelt statement. Good for you. I live a 1/2 a world away and am deeply touched by your humility.
  • I will always stand with my hand over my heart. I love my country.

"Wasn't a tremendous athlete" dudes an SF Soldier. He's THE type of dude who's athleticism is the MOST tremendous in the nation. Our warriors ALL have something that not all of our athletes do. Selflessness. Here's to our special operators. Here's to our Infantrymen. Here's to our combat vets.
  • @charlesdai
I'm a minority immigrant, a veteran, a 49ers fan longer than Kaepernick's been alive, we even bought his jersey in 2013, haven't watched football now for 3 years....thanks Colin!

People find it disrespectful that he took a knee. But in reality he never disrespected anything he listened and all he wanted was others to listen.
