So does the timing of exercise, light exposure, etc, change the expression of the circadian clock genes (BMAL1 and CLOCK)? Would lowering blood pressure before sleep (with or without pharmaceutics) induce sleep, or is lower blood pressure a down-stream effect of entering the sleep cycle? Finally, any thoughts what may cause waking up too early? I fall asleep instantly, but wake up after 4 hours unable to go back to sleep!
