Some other tips that help: A) If the roster for a major show (RAW, SD, etc) is over 40, add a minor show for that show It helps with allowing the wrestlers to fight, advance rivalries, adjust power rankings/divisions faster to avoid endless rematches B) Browse through your roster and clear the default allies and enemies for your wrestlers. They will start new rivalries and manage it better through the rivalry system/rivalry actions. This matters more if you don't follow the default rosters, and you got X on a show while their level 5 enemy Y is on a completely different one. C) If a match looks weird, check the rivalry action taking place that match. There are some messy ones, for example: X & Y have a match, and the rivalry action is "X will callout Y from stage". For that to be possible, the ai will change your X vs Y match into a random wrestler vs Y, so that X can come after the match to callout Y. D) He's right about the PLEs on the last day of the calendar. The rivalry system needs 3 weeks to conclude in the 4th week at a PLE. If you run NXT, you will have to add the NXT PLEs on the third sunday, and after the first month they will work as normal (because there will be a gap of 4 weeks between each one that is next)

I’ve done this method. Made Raw the main show with Smackdown on Thursdays as my minor show. I got about 66 people on my roster with just 5 titles & one PPV at the end of each month. It’s run pretty smoothly so far. Got it set back in 2018 with a bunch of created wrestlers like Rusev & Adam Cole.

Universe mode is full of glitches

I took my inspiration from other sources, have a male brand and female brand like NJPW and Stardom. Set up, my divisions the way, I wanted, so that AI don't mess up, the auto-booking for the weekly shows, since people will only face, others of the same division. Make my divisions work similar to how they work in UFC/Soccer leagues, rankings and wins matter. Since when you don't rivalries, the PPVs bookings are based on the divisions rankings, especially the title ones. And about PPVs, I do similar to UFC, in minor PPVs, I make rankings matches that affect the rankings and positions, leaving the title defenses only for the bigger PPVs. And stars promotion from midcarders to main-eventers or relegation from main-eventers to midcarders is through division ranking by the end of the season. This make Universe mode to become similar to a mix of NJPW and Stardom with UFC/soccer leagues vibes, by treating each division like it was a Soccer Leagues. I don't know, if USA has one league or more, but most Soccer countries have normally the biggest league and then lower leagues and promotions and relegations occur in the end of the season. And since it doesn't have promos, is easier for me, to do some similar to NJPW and Stardom, than WWE or AEW. And always run a Forbidden door type of Universe mode, expands my fantasy bookings and increases the competiveness and quality, by bringing the bigger names of other promotions.

To deal with a larger roster of stars in each brand, I've created 4 main divisions, each having 10 stars each that work like Soccer leagues, like I mentioned before, 1 main-eventer, 2 midcarder and 1 that is basically the NXT or ROH division without the need of a minor show and plus the tag division. Like NJPW and Stardom has alot of tag, trios and 8 men tag matches, I included those in my match card, aswell triple threats and fatal way matches and increase the match to 8 to 9 per weekly shows, giving 2 matches per division in each weekly show. So all divisions, have a chance to shine and mess around the win/loses and the rankings position in each division. Similar to how a Soccer Leagues work, everyone ends up facing each other, inside the same division. And I do sim AI vs AI matches with tweaked mechanics. Aswell I created matches, that mirror the matches, you see in NJPW, Stardom, Marigold, etc...timed matches, count outs of 20, instead of 10, etc...

Thanks for this. It helps. I usually customize everything if I play. This might be a dumb question, but does the system treat doubles as regular guys. Like if I wanted a rivalry between the rock and the rock or Austin vs Austin, it will treat it as a regular thing, right? I hope I can enjoy it more this year.

What I did was reset all enemies and allies to blank then set a major show on weds with 10 on roster any 10 then deleted all ppv the SD,next,then raw, then reset all titles so no holders go back to calendar set my 1 major 1 minor ( I have 70 on roster ) then deleted the show I set up on weds set ppv end of each month amd it works spot on for me

Is there a way to fix a bug where your game thinks a show/arena is connected to your universe when it isn't?

How do you make the person come out with the money in the bank briefcase? I just finished the PPV and the next night the person comes out without it, and it makes them try and cash in every single night and it’s annoying, I want to be the one to decide when they cash in. Any tips?

Hi, first of all, thank you for the explanation it really helps a lot judging by other users comments I'm totally new to this game and I wanted to ask a few question if you can answer, I feel totally dumb because I never watched WWE last decade and more since it got removed in my country after Chris Benoit's death Q1. If I follow your method, and let's say I have Raw (untouched as you did), NXT and Smackdown, can the superstars be automatically booked against each other even if they're from different shows? (For example a match with X from Smackdown vs Y from Raw in one of the two shows) Q2. If the answer to Q1 is yes, do I have to put the superstars of a tag team together as participants in the same show? And Rivalries should be between superstars from the same show too? (for example brothers of destruction both on Smackdown) Q3. If the answer to Q1 is no, if I put the same titles on all my three divisions (exception for MITB obv) they can all automatically compete for the titles or I have to manually switch them everytime between the shows? (F.E. let's say I have Rey Mysterio on Raw and Eddie Guerrero on Smackdown but I want them to compete for the WWE undisputed champion belt, the game can do it automatically or I have to put them together as participants in the same Show even if the Belts they can win are the same for all of them) Sorry for asking but I don't really understand how it works, in the game and in real life too, this system (draft like one) isn't used too much in Europe in sports so I'm having a hard time figuring everything out. Universe mode is the mode I played the most in the last few years and the fact that they’ve completely abandoned it and did nothing to fix the bugs with every update has made me decide to never pay for a WWE game ever again.
