With those 10 seconds of screen time, he's the best John Connor that's ever existed. Face is perfect, scar is perfect, uniform is perfect, demeanor is perfect, he is John Connor as I want to see him, as he is supposed to be. Still the best Terminator movie to date(probably forever) and still one of the top action movies ever.

Me and the boys dropping into Malevelon Creek for the first time

The most realistic thing about this scene, is that the Toytata truck is still being used

31 years and STILL one of the all time greatest openings in film history....

Fun fact: The budget for this ONE scene equals the entire first Terminator movie

This intro alone is better than any of the sequels.

The first 20 seconds showing the traffic and the children playing with the ominous score always gives me that eerie feeling , then the absolute silence of that dark desolate world is brutal.

I just want a prequel that looks exactly like this and nothing but this.

He's on screen for less than a minute, but this adult John Connor is infinitely better than the ones given to us by the sequels.

I've always loved how John Connor scans the environment like a machine, to me it portrays that he's spent so much time with them and got to know them on such a level that he can think like them on the battlefield. He cannot be afraid and he has to stay functional. Perfect casting of John as well, looks like a true battle hardened leader.

The score, the sound effects, the practical effects, the monologue. Greatest opening in cinema history.

I was expecting Termination: Salvation to be 2 hours of this war.

We need a whole move that's just THIS. The original future war, that ends with Connor sending Reese back to 1984.

2:05 - 2:09 Always loved the way the Terminators are moving in this shot. Completely silent, unaffected by gun recoil, stiff and puppet like. The following scene of a busted T-800 still trying to move without a single sound. So unnatural and creepy.
