Damn i got this CD when it came out in 2001 when i was 13. Some of my core memories were made while listening to the CD abs specifically this song. I'll never forget flying to meet my biological father for the first time and having this CD not only on repeat the entire plane ride there but every time I felt uncomfortable around them (which they made me feel all the time) I put this song on repeat so I was always listening to this in my CD player with my little headphones on. By the way I love the comment where the 15-year-old says that this old school music is the best which I agree with him but I can't believe that it's old school music now oh LOL I'm old😅
  • I'm 15 but old school is so much better than rap now I'm so glade my dad showed me old school 🙏🏻

Luda's best track. Criminally underrated. One of my favourite tracks all of time, never get sick of it. Loved it immediately the first time when my bro played it in his car. 13 years old when I first heard it, now i'm 34. Be banging this track out in the rest home to be honest.

Never understood this song, until I got older and graduated HS. Lost 2 good friends the same year, makes you cherish life that much more. RIP Josh and Falon.

Favorite song by Luda, I wore this one out. Absolutely incredible song.
  • This song is so underrated, Luda was. Really one of the hardest rappers in his day. Highly underrated. Give that man his flowers 🌹 🌺. Song never ceases to give me the chills or shed a tear
  • This was the first CD I ever bought. Fresh off the school bus walking home, bought it from a fiend for $2. When home popped it in my brothers CD player and just vibed for the rest of the day.
  • When i first heard this as a kid I knew 20 years later i would look back fondly on it. But I thought at least some of the homies would still be around to reminisce with me. RIP Guys.

High school memories.. constantly Being picked on and called racial names for being Native American. We banded together and stuck up for one another inside and out of those walls.. Not the meaning of this song. But it makes me think of those friendships that we all made growing up.
  • Best hook i ever heard was this (We were trying so hard Hard to survive Cause even though we were young We had to stay strong No matter what we went through It was me and my crew And that's how it went When we were kids) so great!
