Summary: seems like a lot of steps everywhere, so pack light and efficient, take a good backpack and get sleep before you travel. I travel long haul europe to Philippines a lot and always be tired enough to sleep 7 hours on the 1st leg of the flight and then some more around the second leg, arriving in the Philippines refreshed.
