Columbia River Gorge + Portland Day Trip

Published 2018-11-20
We took a day trip to the Columbia River Gorge and Portland and WOW we did a lot in 9 hours! We chased lots of waterfalls (sorry TLC!), ate some amazing food, drank some delicious coffee, explored city parks, and saw the BEST view of Portland and Mount Hood! See the details of our trip below and get a copy of our Weekend in Portland Guide, which includes many of the spots from our vlog (+ more!)

I am going this weekend very excited. and thank you guys.
  • My wife and I did the Colombia River Gorge but stayed on the Washington side. We crossed over at Bridge of the Gods, then back. Missed all these waterfalls. Oops, another reason to go back. We did do Bonneville Dam, a very cool place.
  • We finally made it to the beautiful hikes/falls in the Columbia gorge. Of course, we stopped at Sugarpine drive in and also at Pine State Biscuits. You recommendations were on the spot. Thank you
