I decided to join the contest for fun! This song really suits what I had in mind for Ava ^^
I didn't want to animate this part of Ava's backstory so soon, she was supposed to be a twist villain 😢. But I guess it doesn't matter because my plot is all over the place rn lol...I'm not good at writing, and Ava's backstory is very complicated.
This is somewhat of a part two to the 67 meme. Well, not really a part two.. it's more of an explanation of what happened behind the scenes. Ava's backstory isn't done though, this is just the beginning.
Man I'm not happy with this animation.. I've been having some burnout lately (skill issue). There are many scenes that are horribly executed, I didn't have enough time to think things through. I think that the main idea is not that bad but I ran out of time to properly animate the scenes. I also made this even though I haven't finalized most of my characters' designs yet. The unfinished designs also caused problems in the storytelling in this animation as I left out some characters without proper designs.
I'll definitely learn from this, and hopefully I'll be able to improve my animation speed and art/animation quality. Btw if anyone has constructive criticism feel free to leave a comment! I'll be grateful for feedback as long as it can help me improve.
Off topic but I have no idea where to put this video in the timeline playlist lmaooo. It starts in the future with Jessica, but the rest of the meme is technically a flashback/explanation of what happened.. I'll just put it in the future for now, since this is a flashback.
The timeline is very complicated here (especially since I removed the lore section).. The storytelling is also all over the place lmao. I was trying to do it in a way that makes it mysterious but I think it just ended up being confusing.. ah well, I'll work on my storytelling skills and hopefully ill get better

The deprovement is real guys. 😔👌 Help this is so cringy ;-; I really need to work on my skills because this is just not it. I think the biggest problem for me was the time limit, I was also having some burnout at that time. Ofc I'm not going to use this as an excuse, and I'll def learn from it. This looks great! I'll give some criticism since you asked, hopefully it'll help! One of the errors I saw was consistency. For example Ava's cloak that turns into a jacket in the second half of the video.(also the blue thing on her head but I assume that it was left out on purpose..? I don't think you'll miss out on something like that.) Also the lip sync. It was quite okay, I guess it's hard to make it accurate while doing 7 frames per second. I think you should draw mouths with more detail so it looks better. Well the rest is just anatomy, but I'm sure you're working on that already. Best of luck! You can do this! It takes time to improve and I believe that your efforts will pay off.

(add on to my previous comment) also, i realized that your fight scenes look a little repetitive. For example the one in your last video. I know its hard to animate one but i would suggest trying something different instead of always having one character in the air.
