Today we will show you a super easy tip trick to inflate a tubeless tire that won't seal at the rim. This is a safe and effective way to inflate tubeless tires. *Take caution when when you release the ratchet strap. Do not inflate entirely while the ratchet strap is around the tire.*
This should work for most tubeless tires. Our tire was from a snowblower but it should work for lawnmower tires or other tubeless tires. • Thanks - fortunately unlike the last poster, I strugged only for about 5 minutes before deciding youtube was the place to come. Worked a treat. You are the Man.

In retrospect this seems so obvious I feel kind of stupid for not thinking of it myself but kudos to you for posting this video. 2 minutes flat from frustratiom to Google to problem solved and mission accomplished.
  • Thank you so much! I couldn't get air in my car's tubeless spare tire and didn't have straps like yours, but was able to push it up against a wall with my foot and pump it up thanks to this method of yours!
  • Al, you're a godsend. Just replaced my tire on my escooter and fought so hard to get it to seal. Thanks for this!

Thanks! That worked. I had to keep the valves in the stems for it to work on the tires I had.

I did this method with a little 11"x4" trailer tire and it worked like a charm! Thanks.
  • Never done this before. Watched this video and it worked for me, third time trying adjusting the rim a bit each time and I also used a layer a vaseline to make a seal. Great video- thanks for helping 👍🏼

Thank you sir, that proved to be very useful as I received a tire that had been deformed in transport and it didn't want to seal. Got it mounted in no time with this technique! :)

This works great! I had to watch it again b/c I had the tie down strap backwards. Pay attention to how he has the strap setup or it won't work. the flat side goes on top of the tire. so you can pump the ratchet on top of it. Thanks for a very good tutorial! And certainly much safer than the ether explosion method. lol
