Scrub fire and Firehawks in central Australia desert country

Published 2022-09-19
Wild scrub fire burning through desert country in central Australia, these fires start from lightning or careless people and burn through large areas of desert country for many days or weeks. Firehawks show up to catch small creatures such as insects or reptiles fleeing the fire front. Black Kites (Firehawks) are known to snatch small burning branches and transport them to unburnt country and start new fires to flush out hiding critters.

The UK is back to it's usual tricks, I'd email you a few tanker loads of water but they would only get stuck on the sand. I had enough points once, regrets.. Interesting video.

The chances of being killed by grass in Australia are slim, but never zero.

Great drone recording, love the hawk action the drone received. Some of that bush fire was spreading very quickly, especially when the wind picked up from behind it.
