Here is our whitewater rafting carnage reel for Gauley Fest 2018, which takes place on the Gauley River in Summersville, West Virginia. All of the clips are from the Upper and Middle Sections of the Gauley. It's hard to believe that all of this carnage came from a single weekend. Lots of good stuff from Pillow Rock, Sweets Falls, and Box Canyon this year.

I rafted the upper and middle Gauley 5 times in the early 2000's with my team as a team building experience. The stories, memories and experiences are PRICELESS! We still talk about them today. Our guide intentionally ran us into "Postage due" right after we came over "Sweets Falls" and 3 of us that were in the back of the raft were dragged left into "Box Canyon". It was scary but knowing that none of the HUGE rocks in "Box Canyon" are undercut obviously helped us panic a little less, but it was still a HUGE adrenaline rush. The entire experience of running the Upper and Middle Gauley is a rush. 5 separate rapids rated at class 5 or 5+... AMAZING!!

This is the best ww compilation ever. Dude in green and black helmet's reaction to the failed jump attempt at 3:33 is priceless. He saw that unnecessary carnage coming way before everyone else. Ride on!

Went rafting on the new river (near the gauley in West Virginia). Even the New River has a few class 5’s and 4’s! Most horrifying experience of my life, but certainly unforgettable!!

I'm from Cali and think am on the wrong side of the state's. You guys look loke you know how to have fun. All these people out on the west coast can be so uptight. If you play around on the river out here like this, you get bad looks. Fuck em.
