Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) is a unique state of matter that occurs at extremely low temperatures, near absolute zero. It was first predicted by Satyendra Nath Bose and Albert Einstein in the 1920s.

In a BEC, a group of atoms or particles behaves as a single entity, occupying the lowest possible energy state. At these ultra-cold temperatures, individual atoms lose their distinct identities and merge together, forming a collective state of matter with remarkable properties.

Creating and studying BEC is a challenging task as it requires cooling atoms to extremely low temperatures using sophisticated techniques such as laser cooling and evaporative cooling. Nonetheless, the discovery and exploration of BEC have revolutionized our understanding of matter and continue to push the boundaries of scientific knowledge.

At Manocha Academy, learning Science and Math is Easy! The school coursework is explained with simple examples that you experience every day! Yes, Science & Math is all around you! Let's learn every day from everyday life!

We Bengali feel proud that a Bengali worked with Albert Einstein.

My 2nd-grade daughter shows strong interest in science and since she learned about the 3 states of matter, she wants to know more about it. I am using this video to explain to her young mind the concept of plasma and BEC. Thank you very much.

Very comprehensive explanation. Even layman will be interested to listen to this. I am accounting guy and like to read books and once read about Satyanendra Nath Bose in "Desh" monthly. He was not only an extremely talented Physicist and Mathematician but also was very good in language and literature. Along with Bengali and English he learnt French, German and Sanskrit. He was a very good Esraj player. Lets share his famous quotation about learning science in Indian language : "Who thinks, we can't learn science through Bengali language, either he does not know science or he does not know Bengali".
  • Sir you explain us the concepts of each topic very easily and and I understand it in 5 second...thank you very much sir❤❤🙂

Sir you are an amazing teacher... U deserve sooo many subscribers and their appreciation as well. Keep Going Sir😊
  • Thank you sir. For this amazing video on BEC. YOUR CLASS ANIMATION AND TEACHING METHADOLOGY MADE ME STICK TO MANOCHA ACADEMY FOR SCIENCE CLASSES
  • Sir, you explained everything and make the science and math fun for us, May God reward you abundantly
  • @Kush.08
Sir your classes and your videos are awesome.. I am not getting words to praise your effort for us.. You are our "DUMBLEDORE" and we are STUDENTS studying HOGWARTS..

I followed this story with interest for years. One thing you didn't mention was the team that first accomplished this feat received the Nobel Prize in physics. The Bose Einstein Condensate also has implications for building quantum computers. Mind blowing stuff.

It is something like the cooper pairs in superconductivity Lol😂😂
  • WOW! wow. Such an amazing video. Each and every video is better than the last one. loving it sir.. The thumbnail,, :elbowcough::yougotthis:
