Lydia, I have to tell you that I so enjoy all of your YouTube videos and Instagram videos. I am a 68-year-old lady who lives in the south of the United States and a small town in the country and I get so much enjoyment out of watching you puttering around in your garden and showing us your beautiful home and the beautiful clothes because I love fashion and I love clothes, I love it when you refer to your hubby as Mr. Millen Gordon I think that’s so adorable. I just wanted you to know that maybe I’m not in your demographic but I am getting a lot of pleasure enjoy getting to watch you and I’m learning a lot. I might even start gardening. You never know, you inspired me and I thank you

its probably too late. But Lydia herringbone flooring is one of the most timeless things you can do. It's VERY expensive to do that's why you don't see it often. but it's been around for centuries. It's absolutely beautiful. Definitely not trendy. :)

The bookcase is perfect Lydia. As you said do not leave it in the house when you move. Would you consider putting armchairs in front of it now instead of a sofa so that some of the bottom of the bookcase can be seen. It really is gorgeous.

I think the Oskar dress is for a longer torso. You absolutely look perfect when your dresses sits higher on the waist. For that amount of money it should be perfect on you.! ❤

The print on the dress with flowers looks a bit like Ted Baker coat lining. Too heavy on bottom and too much florals, Lydia! But if you like it, enjoy and proudly wear.😊

Lydia your style is so timeless and classic, you're definitely an inspiration! I think this Oscar de la Renta dress isn't timeless at all. You're a gourgeous women and this dress doesn't deserve you to wear it.

Try moving the two chairs in from of the new bookcase. Couch hides it too much. Just a thought.

Not crazy about the floral dress. I am sure you have something far nicer in your wardrobe that you could draw on.

The Oscar DL dress is pretty but because it’s so fitted all the way down to the lower stomach and then it puffs out there, it just gives a big bubble gut effect. And it’s not fitted enough at the top to balance the bottom out! If it fluffed out at the waist line it would be pretty but because it doesn’t go out until the lower stomach, it creates a very unflattering silhouette that I can’t imagine is flattering on any body shape!

Love the bookcases and I agree to put the chairs in front if it and not the sofa covering it? Over the dark walls in there now and hope to see a lighter paint color since the room is so dark without lights on? Yes artwork or wall decor should be eye level - most people hang things too high does depend if you hang something over something talk like a fireplace mantel etc.

Love, love the natural design of the spring garden. Just a note about hanging pictures. Yes, they are to be hung eye height in a gallery where you are standing. However, in a room where you are generally sitting, they look better hung lower because your eye height is lower when sitting. I personally think they look too high over the sofa and would prefer them to be hung lower. Cannot wait to see the colour you choose for the walls.

Hi Lydia, I really enjoy your style and fashion sense but the Oscar dress is extremely busy and takes away from you and your beauty. All you see is a big dress with flowers coming towards you but you do not see the person. Also, I agree with others that the equestrian picture would be a better fit for the wall behind the sofa. It looks more modern, clean and elegant. The other two makes the room look dated. I do love your new lilly silk collection. It is both beautiful and elegant. Congrats!!
