Iā€™ve been to visit the pyramids in Egypt, and Stonehenge in my home country, but my top of the list is to visit Rome and this fascinating building, one day. Hopefully

Itā€™s beautiful to see and hear Italians restoring their history and saying ā€œwe love our countryā€ that sort of nationalism isnā€™t aloud anymore in Europe for some reason itā€™s a bad thing to remember your history and live the land that feeds you and gives you life and freedom, Iā€™m not Italian and I love Italy, I love my own country whole heartedly because it has some of the most amazing history and had the biggest empire since the romans

I am really glad they are starting to rebuild it. I hope they keep it going. ā¤
  • Hadrians wall deserves some love. Rebuild a portion complete with a fort and watch tower. Get school kids involved
  • 1. Can they rebuild ancient Roman city or make clone city? 2. I wish they didn't destroy ancient Roman cities through years to present. šŸ˜”

More concerning to me that the Colosseum was robbed out in the middle ages and somehow people consider that to be reason to keep it in its ruined state. It should be completely restored to its fully functional classical glory; there's no reason to maintain it in its vandalized state.
  • Aw damn it, Ive already seen this one beforeā˜¹ļø. Think it was under documentaries on Tubi but could have possibly been on another YT history channel? Same thing happened last week but cant remember if it was this channel or one of the others? Make some new docs ppl lol
  • beyond what all was done at the building its still a cool building even if ya crystalized it in a polyurithane clear top to seal it it would still be a cool building without loss just maken it polished firmer as if glassing means no loss of original looks just shineir
  • Intriguing, i always knew there was more to life and i have also been looking for a way to find not only protection but a way to be influential to the human society

The frequency of the adverts in this programme is intolerable. I gave up about 10 minutes in.

Why is one section so much taller than the rest?
  • @GKTorn.
I wonder how much of this is fact vs fanciful speculation

To make the holy grail of Roman monuments a now cultural place were concerts and such are too take place, is too put it very very veeery lightly, TAKING THE ALL OUT PISS... a place like that should be forever preserved , do we go dance at the 9,11 sight , we most definitely do not so why were so many souls where basically murdered?

ā€¦.SO WHAT?!? Who CARES if FENDI or TODā€™S gets to ā€œuseā€ the Collesiumā€™s emblem on its products? Surely, thatā€™s an insignificant thing compared to the amount of funding they are providingā€¦.If there is a respectable ā€œThank youā€ to them outside the Collesium entrance, who would object??

Rome isn't "the most famous city in the world"... In ancient times maybe, but NYC gets more tourists these days.
