In Pokemon reality, Sylveons are the ones to fillet other Pokemon. Even in their Dexter entry, it describes Sylveons as beautiful, but murdering machines. The ribbons are not for decoration, but for strangling any possible prey that comes near them, even humans. They then eat the prey's insides.
