The Knuckles Show is a Shameful Disgrace

Honestly they should’ve just straight up called it ” Wade & Knuckles” the “& Knuckles” part granting the writers meme points and not false advertising it as Knuckles’ show where people say he cameos in it.

I don't know what "Knuckles Show" you're talking about. This is CLEARLY the Wade Show

I was excited for the show but it just makes no sense at all. The main villain doesn't even have anything against Knuckles, he just somehow has his quills and wants him dead when he very clearly described Sonic as the reason for his failures

Paramount CEO: "Sorry, Knuckles. “I'm afraid to say it's not 1994 anymore. These days Sonic fans don't care about unique settings and childish animal characters. They want relatable Earth problems and bumbling human OCs and F**k You, you want a chicken nugget!?”

I’ve never stared so blank-face at a tv for over an hour

3 of my kids are 10 and under and they kept asking me “Where is Knuckles?” And they didn’t even stay around for the season finale. This was a missed opportunity.

"Knuckles is wearing the OVA hat! The fans will love this!"

Every company is like "How can we make a movie franchise and streaming show" not "Should we make a movie franchise and streaming show?"

At this point I wouldn't even consider whether the show or not is bad on it's own merits. It's moreso the principle of the people who greenlight these shows fundamentally misunderstanding what fans of this property they're adapting actually want from it. They've been doing it for decades! The Transformers Movie; starring some human randos with special guest stars, the Transformers! Alvin and the Chimpunks; staring Jason fucking Lee and his career troubles. The Smurfs: What do you mean you don't care about Neil Patrick Harris' relationship issues? There's changing certain aspects of an existing property to better fit a different medium than it's origins and then there's using said media property to try and uplift your shitty sitcom script no one wanted to buy. That "Surf Dracula" tweet is evergreen; "back in the day if u did a tv show called surf dracula you'd see that fool surfing every week in new adventures but in the streaming era the entire 1st season gotta be a long ass flashback to how he got the surfboard until you finally get to see him surf for 5 min in the finale" I watched the Sonic movie to see SONIC. I watched Knuckles to see KNUCKLES. Why is this so hard to understand? But all those movies I listed still did gangbusters so maybe I'm just an idiot who doesn't know how the hollywood money machine works.

The biggest problem is the marketing was a lie. It made it look like the focus was on knuckles when it was on wade

There were some neat moments, good action and some jokes that actually landed but as a piece of Sonic media? This fails miserably. Also no Knuck If You Buck or even Unknown from M.E. in the show proper was just shameful. Knuckles deserves far better than buddy comedy schlock.

Everyone's perception of this show entirely depends on how they feel about wade and him taking over as the main character. If you don't like wade, you're probably not going to like this series.

Kind of bummed that we’re skipping Chaos entirely. How cool would it be to see this Knuckles, who more than the original holds his clan in a high place of reverence as an honorable warrior clan, be shown the darker side of the Echidnas and set loose a monster bent on revenge for what the Echidnas did, now freed after the Master Emerald shattered in the second movie would be cool. But because Chaos and SA1 aren’t really popular compared to Shadow and SA2, we’re just going to skip that.

“Six episode event” is corporate talk for “2 hour movie extended to six episodes.”

Knuckles deserve better, especially since this is his 30th Anniversary! 😑

Between Knuckles Chaotix being clearly unfinished and on the 32X, the Penders-helmed Archie comic series and now this, I'm starting to think any Knuckles-focused media is just cursed

i am just disappointed they didn't include greg the second (wade's WACKY cousin). really shows how little this show cares about the fans...
