Mini GPS GF-07 Tracker for Vehicle Haw to Use setup the APP

This device is rubbish. It was connected to my sim but it did not register. I sent 102 from my mobile and it says the device is registering. Its about one month since I bought it and its still the same issue. Don't waste your money and don't buy it.

So this thing doesn't actually use GPS, even though it says "GPS" on the device in big letters? AND requires 2G network? And this is nowhere in the instructions/marketing text? Wow, that's simply lying to your customers. Awful practice.

I have one of these trackers, but never got the opportunity to use it, lol. Anyway, from what I gather, you can activate the SiM in any sort of cheap phone that has a removable SIM. You will need to purchase some additional cheap plan that provides a SIM (Straight Talk-Walmart). You need to have a phone number attached to that SIM that is active, that can be accomplished with any old phone uve got around. Set it up as you would any "new" phone. After you receive an assigned cellphone number, remove the SIM, then plug it into the GPS unit. You should see it light up internally, as in the video. (Make sure the unit is fully charged before use! A green light will go out once fully charged, if I recall correctly) After that, there is a 3 digit text command (shown in video-you will text the GPS the command) that will bind the GPS to ur actual everyday cellphone. Once they are bound, this will allow you to "ping" the GPS for its location via another 3 digit command. There are several, but the two discussed here can do the job. You should receive a link in response. That link will show you GPS location via Google Maps. The instructions were completely in Chinese, so this video filled in alot of blanks. Btween my comments and this video, you should be able to utilize the unit to achieve the task at hand.

What kind of SIM card I have to buy to use it?

Ok, this is not a GPS tracker as advertised. On YouTube, they sell these for $49 each but can buy on eBay for around $6-$9 each. The main issue is that it only operates on 2G networks that don’t exist anymore, plus it has no GPS hardware. Maybe a few years ago, it could operate kind like APRS but this device still doesn’t have the hardware to ping more than one cell phone tower to get a fair idea for search grid. For that reason alone, this device is not worth the headache. A this size and price, it would never reach 007 levels that is needed to actually work. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is too good to true, lol!

How do you remove the PIN from the SIM card?

Hi I got mine today I insit the sim card the red light stays on it's not even blinking I send 000 no response I dont even know if this thing is working what must I do now

I bought one of these, setting it up wasn't a problem HOWEVER, I have 2 issues which I don't see mentioned here 1) The location is NOT accurate.... Had my car parked outside my house with the tracker in it, got the location and it showed me my car was on a different street in my local hospital grounds..... I went to pickup some car parts the following day and while inside the store I got my location once again, it showed my location on the opposite side of the dual carriageway in a totally different industrial estate 2) I've tried to download the app for three days and everyday it keeps telling me registering device please try later From my experience I'd say this is absolutely rubbish. What good is it if you'd stole my car, parked it on your drive but this thing is telling me it's somewhere else

My GPS light is not flashing and when I try to call is on voice mail

Mine isn’t showing an accurate location. It shows about a mile away. Is there any way to resolve this? I’m in the UK

i send a message of 000 and i go back the same message 000 of the gps number, i change from 4g to 2g but i cant find the solution,can someone help me?

Mine works but doesn't use Google maps like other trackers. It seems to use some rubbish Chinese mapping and it's very inaccurate.

How many individual people out there who are trying to set up a GPS tracker is one tip make sure you sign that SIM card to register on Google for your mobile phone first then apply the GPS tracker into the than the app work for you the number is not registered to email address then it's unable to track 0:08

Not s good GPS locator. Does not have GPS module. Uses cell tower triangulation which is usually 100s of meters off. It will work as a listening device. Might have some sos functionality.

What kind SIM card do take because the one they give me not work
