this was originally going to be their series finale back then they were going way over budget and decided that if it started with a Christmas special then it should end that way but they loved their jobs so much they all decided to cut their pay IDK maybe they should have ended here but despite its mass decline over the years and how bad it is now, it can be considered one of the greatest shows in American history maybe one day The Simpsons will be given the ending they deserve
