Another vintage engine, this an Atlas/Kato RS-3 that's equipped with a Tsunami 2 decoder and cube speaker. As with all of the engines in my video clips to date, this engine is also set up for "DDE": Dynamic Digital Exhaust, in which the decoder reads the current the motor is drawing and supplies the engine sounds as appropriate. DDE works pretty stinkin' good! In this example, it's all DDE without me using any of my engine sound F key features.
