I love this mosaic couple! You can just tell that their lives are all about love, health and happiness. They really know how to live. ❤
  • When the husband said that his wife was willing to go along with his craziness. I loved that!

I’m a 70 year old California history freak and you have shown me a few interesting things around Southern California for the first time, thank you!

I've actually been there about 20 years ago. I almost went out of my mind when I saw this house, by chance, as I parked on a side street. Literally, I was shaking with excitement from the riot of color that had my eyes popping from surprised shock. I remember sinking to my knees, crying in joy, because my mind was freewheeling from visual over-stimulation & being flooded by endless ideas & possibilities! Am so inspired by the labor of love, creativity & joy of life embedded in every surface, nook & cranny! Such boundless imagination!!✨️💫 The artists were so kind to show me around - inside, out and around the back - where they make their own ceramic tiles in their workshop. I thought to myself: How lucky for this married couple to have found affinity of soul in a lifetime joint project! Seeing this house in Venice, CA had a profound impact on my own creativity. It gave me so many ideas that freed me from any prior constraints I may have had, and I happily went on to create mosaic murals, inlaid flooring, and unique recycled/reinvented furniture-art out of pieces I found at the curbside, being thrown out to trash. So glad someone made a video to share this house! SOo Fun to see all the New work done in the 20 yrs since I came upon this house (by some freaky accident) when I took a wrong turn one day... a day of destiny that changed my artistic aspirations & where I found my passion❤️‍🔥 Bless these good people for making a unique contribution to the art community at large and for making this lovely neighborhood into a realm full of fantasy & wonder! It's important to always retain a childlike energy of awe discovery and you will stay young at heart evermore. It's a precious gift of spirit❤️‍🔥
  • Beautiful relationship they have and wonderful things they make together 🥰

WOW..what a couple of amazing people. That is how marriage should be right there.Almost wanted to tear up at the end. Seeing the love and passion towards oneanother and their passions knowing one day "as with everyone" it will be over and gone. BUT living each day to its fullest with HUMOR and understanding and care will live on forever. Thanks guys for the video.Always awesome!

The house is beautiful. They seem to have a great relationship and love their talent!
  • @8ballout
That is just incredible what this couple did to their house. I can't even paint mine. Big respect.
  • @sisteryaya24
What a relationship! Creating all that magic together is beautiful. I can only imagine the vibrations in that place & those automaton story's blow me away! Thanks so much for the insight and wisdom they shared with us. 💕
  • @Me97202
So many neighbors and neighborhoods wouldn’t allow this kind of unique creativity.

I stayed at a retreat called Heaven in the hills at Malaney QLD Australia. Each cabin was done in mosaics. They were the most beautiful pieces of art amongst the gun trees and roos grazing . So peaceful
  • Wow, what a magical mystical oasis. I just want to do one mosaic wall in our mudroom and this is so inspiring.

Ok....just my absolute honest review and opinion of this video. THE BEST YOU TWO HAVE EVER DONE !! Bethany & Drew I actually had tears listening to this AMAZING couple talk about their relationship. I’m so glad they not only opened up their home to you but also opened up their heart and soul. Amazing people. Thank You both for sharing such an amazing experience!
  • Okay, had my coffee and enjoyed the video a great deal. I think what surprised me was how much they both contributed to the house, that it wasn't more one's project than the other's. That kitchen was dizzying and the "man fishing for a wife" automaton was probably my favorite piece. Well done and kudos for finding another fascinating topic!

i wish i lived in a warm dry climate! i love what they have done with their home and gardens - this is my kind of place - their art is complementary to each other.

I recognize folks of a certain age. Like the local radio station says "If you can't remember what you went in the kitchen for, but remember every word of the song, you're on the right station!" If you see an old guy in a new Challenger, it's not a mid-life crisis, it just looks a lot like the Challenger he grew up with and still likes an adrenaline rush. When people stop enjoying life, they aren't living anymore, they're just existing. I bet this older couple experienced LSD at some point in their lives! I Love y'all's work. I have visited California but could never have the time to see the cool things you feature. Keep up the Great Work!

All people need to be like this. Live, Love, Create. What an inspirational couple.
