  • He is so straight to the point is not even freaking funny, this is what a real professional should be.
  • @beekydogg
Thinking of recoil anticipation as mistimed driving of the gun is actually a game changer for me

This was amazing, I am in Law Enforcement. He was straight to the point. Easy to understand. Very very good tutorial for the beginner shooter.
  • @elysianblinds
This might be the best beginner guide I’ve ever seen.

youtube at 3 am: hey kid you wanna learn how to shoot a gun? me who lives in country that won't allow armed civilians: hmmm yes interesting.

The egos in the tactics world are enormous. As a younger guy in that world I definitely had one. Regardless of how you feel about Lucas. Who admittedly gets a-lot of flak for walking the line of tactics versus performance shooting, you CANNOT deny that this quality of instruction and production value of these videos isn’t a huge benefit to the gun community. If I had these type of information when I first started shooting in 2008 I would have accelerated my learning curve tremendously! I appreciate this content, keep it up dude!

Excellent tips on gun control. Some I didn't even know and this is as thorough as you could ever possibly get in an hour, nevermind 10 minutes. You covered everything from jerking and heeling the trigger to recoil anticipation, trigger wall, there's just so much packed into this, it's fantastic and should be mandatory watching for quick and good gun handling. Stellar job, love the close up examples too, they really hit the mark in terms of what happens in slow motion.

Just bought my first pistol, a Sig P365xl. This video is exactly what I needed before my first range visit. Great explanations on why to do things a certain way. Thanks.

It took two days for my NRA instructor to explain everything Lucas just said when I was getting my basics of pistol shooting certificate
  • @xboxisbetta
This is probably the most actual information in a 12 minute gun video I’ve seen on YouTube.
  • @garic4
Finally, a top quality shooting instruction video. Thank you so much for this, I'm definitely subscribing. There was no mumbling, no jargon, no uncontrollable playing with the weapon while talking, good and precise information, straight to the point.
  • I’ve been shooting over 25 years. This guy is legit with a ton of very helpful information in a short span of time delivered in a very digestible format. High praise from me.
  • @bullwinkle8266
This young man is locked and loaded - locked into the subject at hand without any bs and loaded with useful information. His no nonsense approach is a breath of fresh air.
  • @Rob-no6lx
You have really helped me become a better pistol shooter! I have alot of carbine and shotgun time, but these tips have helped me go from stove piping to getting a 1.3 sec to accurate first shot in under a year. Dry fire is life!
  • @beepsarieaniIwee
I’ve learned more with this guy than anyone so far. Easy to understand, learn, fun to watch and detailed! Also no arrogance or hot headedness like I’ve seen in other videos. Thanks 😊
  • @Insomniac3d
when this guy realises he can store more than 2 bullets in a magazine he's going to be unstoppable
  • @climbtolight
This guy's great. No filler, straight to the point. A skilled shooter and natural educator. It's annoying to read people calling him 'kid'. He's got more man in him than most guys I know.
  • I’m fairly new to gun ownership I’ve owned my glock for about two years now and I go to the range a lot and I’ve became a better shooter but this video literally made me think of all the things I could be doing better my biggest issue with shooting my glock is trigger control I’m okay at it but definitely need to work on it. Very informative video man thanks a lot.
  • Best teacher on YouTube. Clear, concise, and has the skill to back it up.
