Lamborghini launched the Diablo in 1990 and I've long thought it's the best value Diablo of all. With 492bhp from its 5.7litre V12, this is a 202mph analogue Lamborghini supercar that still feels special today. Here's my take on this classic Lamborghini supercar..

Harry single handily increases the value of every early two-wheel-drive Diablo around the world.

“I’m going to shut up and let you listen to the engine” best car reviewer on utube! Wow

Harry, very matter of fact- "I weigh all my cars". Harry is the petrolhead we'd all be if we had loads of money. What a bloke.

17:26 I had chills going down my spine with that 1st - 2nd gear pull, just marvelous

Villager, spilling his tea, “Bloody ‘ell, wot was that?” “Nothing dear, it’s just ‘arry, out for a toot!”

...”If you enjoy driving, then phwoar - it’s a complete overdose”... once again, Harry nails it in a single sentence.

In 1991, I sat in a red Diablo on a Florida vacation. I was 10 Years old and had shelves full of automotive magazines. That was the best part of my vacation

In 1994 I was in my first year of university at RMIT in the CBD of Melbourne, Australia. One day I walked out the front door and parked on the street was one of these. I nearly fainted. The owner was standing next to the car, and he looked like a rich international student. Lucky bugger. Anyway, I wandered off and I was about 100 metres up the road and he started the car. The whole street shook. Thinking about, even now 26 years later, sends a chill down my spine. I swear the engine in that car is a gateway to hell. Best car name ever.

Wow that is the fastest 25 mins I have ever experienced. What an enthralling piece. Thanks Harry.

I'm sure I've commented on this before but I come back to this video a lot. Of all the cars you've driven on this channel, this is the one that appears to excite you the most from what you can tell as a viewer. It would be great to see you drive this again to see how it compares to what you've driven since. It is such a beautiful car in terms of look and sound - one of the peak car designs of all time. From what the owner says about it and the way you look when you drive it it seems like this truly is the essence of driving. Would be a great addition to the garage if you could get your hands on one.

The Diablo was the first supercar I was aware of that I loved, holds a special place in my heart

I think the Diablo is still one of the best looking Lamborghini's out there!😍👌🏼

I'm not sure any car will ever match the presence the Diablo has, even today. When this car came out in the 90's it was absolutely legendary. I still think it is THE definition of a supercar. Also, I agree with Harry, the wing absolutely ruins it.
  • I was lucky enough to use a 91 Diablo as an everyday car for 9 years and I loved every moment . It is much quicker than one might think . The previous owner made small changes to make it more comfortable like moving the bottom half of the gauges over to the centre console to lower the cliff instrument cluster . I have a video on youtube showing it all .I really miss that car .this might sound silly but even my tigers loved riding in it and it was very comfortable for them to hang halfway out the window . anyway , I really enjoyed the video .

Yay another Harry's garage! Something to watch while my wife watches some rubbish on TV tonight.
  • @chrise2329
The Diablo was my poster car growing up, want one even more after watching this!
  • I can't imagine how exciting that drive is. The gear whine. The deep intake sound. Love how the rpm of the engine increases when it gets a little light on its tires.
  • Watching again in 2022, this remains my favourite Harry’s Garage video
