Thanks. I live in Canada and primers are ridiculous, some private sellers be asking for 50 for 100 LRP primers . WTF!

What I’ve noticed is that many smaller shops see on the internet that prices are expected to increase to no matter how long the powder ,primer’s or ammunition has been sitting on the shelf..boom a new price increase seems to grown on the box ….amazing

I got some 550 bricks of 22 from Walmart for $20 back when they sold them. Maybe they still do but not for $19.99 550 rounds. I'm glad I bought my 150r Green Tip Boxes for $86ea a few years ago at my local Academy. I stocked up on all my 9mm, 223, 556, 300bo, 380's, 22's, 22 rat shot & 22 Mags. I need to look into those cameras also. I live on a bunch of S. of Houston which I deer & hog hunt on. Mainly out of my living room! 😅 Then I got the Creek in the backyard for Bluecats & big Yella's.

When things get scary and the world seems unstable people buy more defensive ammo. But most people aren't going to go out kicking down doors and getting into gun fights. You aren't going to live very long doing that sooooooooo, why stock pile 10k rounds.. These are the people that help to create the stupid pricing.

Bullet prices are about the same but SOME powders that are more popular are stupidly priced! I've seen 8lb tub powders that sold for 230-260 a tub a year or two ago are now selling for 474 per 8lb tub. It's got to the point where it's allllllllmost not worth buying the components to reload right now. In fact I have enough that i won't buy anything currently because the prices aren't worth the time to do it.

I got that exact hammock chair for my wife, she loves it around the fire on the patio. I hope you got a new firepit so you can bring back the fireside chats, I miss them.

While folks are buying ammo at certain prices, im buying guns at historically low prices. When you look at inflation, deals are to be had on firearms. Cheap WASR AKs for example are below price vs many years ago with inflation adjustment. Decent polymer pistols are as cheap as ever. Its a great time for the buyer.

Bass Pro in Pearland looked similar. They only had some high end 223 rem and just one small box of 5.56 Winchester. Zero 7.62x39 as is the case at most retailers these days. There were tons of handgun, shotgun, and 22lr ammo available.

Youtube told everyone the sky was falling so it causes an artificial looking shortage due to panic buying.
