Edit:
I notice, as of typing this, this is my most viewed video currently on my channel. If you read this, consider watching my other content, it's much better than this quick little video that I threw together in less than 30 minutes. So if you decide to stick around, thank you!
EDIT 2:
It's come to my attention that I got some complaints about one of the pictures I decided to put into here. I've since took the picture out to correlate to a better experience, so if you are confused about certain comments talking about the image, just know that it is no longer there.

Edit: removed a photo from this video because it was a bad choice. Once again, ALL photos are from the r/liminalspace and r/backrooms subreddits. I do NOT know the sources of ANY photo in this video. If your comment was removed by YouTube taking it off because there was a timestamp that might not exist anymore, I apologize. Also, if you took the time to read this, I would really appreciate if you were to check out my other content, I didn't really expect this video to get the traction it did and honestly, I think it's my worst video on my channel. So if you could, please go watch my other content, I put a lot more effort into those than this.

For me its more of being alone with something rather being alone completely.
  • @hikari4798
1:09 this is actually calming and nostalgic somehow, it feels comforting and sad at the same time
  • @theendkinda9408
I literally gained this fear from source games The map's emptiness is eerie The maps give me an feeling that something is watching me from a far distance, even though I know I'm alone
  • @ScarletStrain
I’m not afraid of being alone, I’m afraid of not being alone when I think I am
  • @mint5438
Nah, These are the kinda images where you aren't alone, but wish you were.
  • @huntertrum3658
5:20 reminds me of traveling to Missouri as a kid. my family had a farm in the southeast part of the state, which is very flat. Bland nothingness, and not even a pretty nothing. The drive was always boring, and creepy as hell. The road always looked dreadful right before sundown, and I remember I would try to fall asleep before it was night. Staring into the vast darkness of the fields would always unsettle me, and even now large fields and open road just kinda unsettle me.

3:03 * Your forgotten corpse lies within your casket, a funeral was set up just for you. * ... * But nobody came...
  • @nateorius
These photos creep me out but not because I'm scared of being alone but because I imagine something being there with me
  • 1:37 gives me nice memories about the sun and playing outside and light and happiness a because of the Earthbound music.
  • Like being scared of the dark, I'm not actually scared of being alone- I'm scared of what I'm alone WITH.
  • @lewis9s
“I actually prefer being alone.” Also me:
  • @Yoho4867
People say that this is the fear of NOT being alone but I disagree. This is the fear of being completely alone, of seeing remnants of life but never seeing the life. Imagine that no matter where you go, no one else will be there. No people or animals. No demons, no voices. You are cursed to wander in solitude. Each house as a mirage of hope, each closed door and turned corner falsifies life that will never be there, that has possibly never been there. You say you're scared there's something else there with you, but the truth is you cannot fathom true isolation because it is too crushing to even imagine, and to pretend you are not alone is to avoid this fear entirely.
  • @BirinderSingh
Being alone isn't scary, it's the thought of not being alone that gets you.
  • @pikajew3578
1:37 is incredibly pleasant & feels particularly dreamy, probably due to the bright colours and wide area as well as the weather. The Earthbound music is especially fitting here too.
  • I actually feel like these are places that would be in a dream. Not vivid enough for me to remember, but seeing them is triggering something and I don’t know what it is.
  • This summons the fear of the Unknown more than anything. What could be lurking in the shadows with us?
